For those of you who don't know what spoonbread is, well here we go. It is a southern dish and considered the most delicious of all corn meal breads. I was first introduced the dish at the Boon Tavern Hotel here in Berea where spoonbreads been served for many years. The recipe's been traced to the early 1800s and many variations use baking soda and or sugar while others use neither. Any way it goes spoonbread is delicious and this year I will be serving spoonbread we make our self. So stop by the spoonbread booth and pay me a visit or if you would like to help give me a call at 859.200.5235. I look forward to seeing you there.
