Buyer Preference!

Why would Buyers prefer to drive fancy vehicles, rather than purchase a nice home for their families. When my husband and I were starting our family, our home was top priority. We sacrificed everything, to purchase a nice home, in a nice neighborhood, to raise our children. Today, young families are content living in a not-so-nice rental, as long as they have "cool" cars to drive. It WAS the American dream to own a home, but that dream seems to have died!

About Us:

After graduating from Missouri State University in 1989 with a BS in Political Science Degree specializing in Paralegal Studies, I worked with a Legal Firm in Springfield, MO servicing clients with large Real Estate holdings (such as John Q. Hammons, a multi-billion dollar real estate investor http://www.jqhhotels.com/home.aspx). My husband's company relocated our family of six to Des Moines, Iowa in August of 2000, where I worked with Attorney Wayne Wilson providing estate planning for clients, many with large real estate holdings. In November of 2003, my husband's company relocated our family to Warwick, NY where I took a position as a personal assistant to a local Real Estate Broker that had been in the business for more than 30 years. In December of 2006, the Broker retired and closed her buisness. At that point, I decided to venture into the role of Real Estate Agent.

Since I have personally been through the process of purchasing a home 5 times, selling 4 homes, and relocating a family, I am familiar with the issues and needs for both Buyer and Seller. With my legal background, I am also aware of the requirements and proceedings. I also understand the emotional impact my clients encounter when selling and/or purchasing a home.
