Well, Tyler Texas is now home. Denise and I love it here. The area is beautiful and we love the people. The office is beginning to hum and I love the associates that we have. I really count this move as a great blessing. I have gotten to the age, where I love to help others grow and obtain their dreams. Keller Williams in Tyler affords me the opportunity to really do just that.
Thanks to all that made it possible.
Terry

Have you ever wondered how some people even survive with the attitude they poses? You know the type. They're the one that if they won the lottery, they would complain about the taxes. I will give you some advice about people like that. Run, I mean run away from them as fast and as far as you can. Negative people thrive on the destruction of other people. Your business life depends on you being ready and positive at all times not down and depressed. Never wish anyone ill will when it comes to life or business. It is simply a waste of your time and energy and no one is worth that amount of attention from you. I have found in life and business people generally don't get what they expect but always get what they deserve. So move on and succeed, the negative and hateful among us will get their just due and we will just keep moving forward and succeeding.
Given the state of the country, I have to say one thing loudly. BUY!!!! Some of the greatest fortunes have been built in times of chaos and crisis. The greatest leaders this world has seen, have come when the world was in total chaos. If you are serious about your future, now is the best time to think and grow big. Look back the companies that came out of the great depression. Strength is built in times of adversity. If you wait for the change, it will pass you and you will be playing catch up. Plan today for your future, then go out and achieve it. I don't need a bailout, I just need good old American know how and elbow grease. I am ready, come join me.
See you at the top!
It was a high counsel that I once heard given to a young person, "Always do what you are afraid to do."
Ralph Waldo Emerson
Take calculated risks. That is quite different from being rash.
George S. Patton
If you do not hope, you will not find what is beyond your hopes.
St. Clement of Alexandra
We are all inventors, each sailing out on a voyage of discovery, guided each by a private chart, of which there is no duplicate. The world is all gates, all opportunities.
Ralph Waldo Emerson
We have all heard about the Seven Wonders of the World. Can you name them? Today there are so many things that the discussion gets wide open very quick. I have way more than seven and they cross over from ancient to modern and even man made. I will give you my top seven and then move on to what I consider the seven wonders of the business world.
The Great Pyramids in Egypt.
The Great Wall of China.
The Grand Canyon
The Internet
The Dead Sea
The Rain Forest
The Northern Lights
I know I left out some of your favorites, but I did say I had a lot more than seven but these are my top seven. In business I also believe that there are seven wonders of successful business people. Yes there are more but if you key on just these seven you will be great in everything you do in business and in life. Each one can be expanded to encompass even more areas.
Integrity- Be honest and trustworthy in all your dealings!
Customer First- Put the customer's needs above yours, always!
Do It- If you said you would do it, then get it done.
Innovate- Get out there on the leading edge and be creative.
Chose a Mentor- Find someone who will be honest and critical of you.
Give Back- Volunteer and get involved in your community.
Listen and Learn- Always try to learn something new and listen to the market and your customers. The business man who listens has an edge on the competition and you always need to be educating yourself so you can keep your customers and employees up to date on the market and the product you sell. If you think you've heard or learned it all, I have one more lesson for you. Failure!
Don't get me wrong there are many more things that can make a business succeed, but they generally come from the foundation of these seven things. If you can make the seven things above into habits you will be amazed at the success your company can and will have.
