Just found out some additional fun things to do in Annpolis this spring....
Paws Pets Boutique co-sponsors with Loews Annapolis a one Friday a month "Canines & Cocktails for a Cause" from April to September at the Loews covered Weather Rail Restaurant Patio, 126 West Street.
If you've never visited Paws Pets Boutique, it is a great store....dogs (and their owner) are welcome! and is located across from the State House in the Historic District. They have really nice items for dogs and cats and it's difficult to go past the store without stopping in!
The first Canines & Cocktails for a Cause evening this year will be April 29 from 5:30-7:30pm. There will be a Canine Iron Chef Demonstration and a portion of the human food/beverage sales will be donated to a featured cause. They also hold a raffle for neat prizes!
Check out this link for additional information! You can also find additional doggie events listed there.
The International Food, Wine, & Hops Festival will be Saturday, April 30 on West Street (from Circle to Circle) from noon-5pm. Tickets are $25/person but they are only selling 750 tickets! So hurry and don't miss this wonderful event where you can sample some of Annapolis' unique, diverse restaurants' fare, along with fine wines and beer. Of course, no festival is complete without retailers making their appearance, live entertainment, and cooking demonstrations. Come join Annapolitans for this fun time!

Buyers - don't wait too long because you snooze, you lose!!!
I've had 2 clients hem and haw lately about properties they liked and then lost because they didn't take my advice. I let my clients know when new properties come on the market and that if they are priced properly, have all the bells and whistles the client wants, and is in their perfect location, well then, let's go!
I'm not going to show them dumps, priced improperly, and next to the railroad track when that is the complete opposite of what they asked me to find for them! I'm not going to alert them unless it fits their criteria as next to perfect as I can get for them! I'm not going to want to waste their time, my time, and the seller's time showing properties that isn't in their sights.
So when my client says, well let's look at it next weekend and this is Sunday and it just showed up in the multi-list, you are not gonna be happy by Friday - I can pretty much guarantee that too!
You know me well enough to know that I want to find the best property in value and emotion that I can for you. I feel sooooo bad when you do get to tour a property and then say, we'll think about it, and I'm saying don't think about it for longer than 24 hrs because that may be pushing it, and then say 2 weeks later, how about that house we saw a few weeks ago....we want to put an offer in on that one. Well, too late - someone signed a no-contingency contract last week. My heart breaks - I feel like I've let them down when logically I know I didn't.
I know we can't make our clients do anything they don't want to do and that's not what I'm saying.....all I'm saying is after I've given you my professional opinion on the market that we are currently in, and you have come to know the type of agent that I am (I work diligently for you), listen to me!!! That's why I am a paid professional - I do know what I'm talking about - that's why you came to me!! Don't snooze and lose and make me cry!
