One of my "new year's resolutions" is to connect with local community service groups, churches, businesses, and fine arts programs. I'm looking for organizations, clubs, groups, businesses, volunteer organizations, churches, schools, theatres, etc, who would like to get their calendars or schedules out to the people in our area ... Bay County, Panama City, Panama City Beach, Lynn Haven, Southport, Mexico Beach, Parker, Callaway... all areas.

The purpose of Localism.com is to connect with the local community, and to offer articles of interest to consumers and professionals in the area.

It's the best time of the year to make new year's resolutions, plan your 2008 calendar, and schedule vacations for the new year. You'll know when the holiday season officially ends ... that's when all the football bowl games are over ... they are in full swing this week and won't be over until next week. Then it's back to business as usual for work, school, and community events.
There are several community calendar dates that we need to know about to plan for 2008 ... without conflicts! One of the most important community calendars is the Bay County School Board planning calendar.
