GREAT URBAN CONDO

The owners and the agent of this large Pearl District condo in Portland wanted a young, hip, urban feel. It has great features that many of the other units did not have such as the spiral staircase, upper level den/office and updated kitchen and baths. The low modular furnishings and the dark toned woods helped to anchor and warm up the space. The portable colors were added through artwork, bedding and area rugs that help anchor the furnishings. With the staging, the agent and owners are hoping for a quick sale.

The wait is finally over.....

We waited FOREVER for this project to finish. As the weeks went by, I horded furniture for this project, while making others mad. The developer and agent were very pleased with the outcome. So far, one unit out of 8 is pending. The porject features many green features such as heated concrete floors, low VOC paint, energy star appliances, eco roof with vegetationand passive solar. Each unit has an internal elevator with service to all 4 floors. I hope you enjoy these photos and get a few ideas along the way!

Have a great day from the Great Pacific Northwest!

Things appear to be heating up in Portland OR!

I wanted to share another staging success... We staged this small condo-conversion on April 8th and it sold on April 17th. The agent is beside herself at the success and speed of the sale. This is proof that staging works in any economic situation. The buyers are also interesed in purchasing some of the furnishings with the unit.

LAST MINUTE STAGINGS CAN HAPPEN!

This agent was part of the UlLTIMATE OPEN HOUSE NEW HOME TOUR here in Portland. She needed her property staged before Saturday. If you want it bad enough and the STAGING GODS are your friends that day, it can happen. We received a call on Thursday morning about a project , only had time to view it on-line and pretty much winged it! We weither have too mcuh stuff or not enough... it turned out to be the second option. Back to the warehouse I went to get last minute accessories while the crew continued to set. This is where it pays to empower your crew to make key decisions that can make your life much easier. The end result was great and she was very pleased. We unfortunately did not have time for before photos. This Property is being marketed by Heather Adams, P.C., CRB,CRS,GRI,Meadows Group 503.608.5142, 13229 SW Maplecrest Ct. Is the client really importlant? (edit/delete)

So, I just finished a job with a client that was a dream. She fully understood the concept of staging, didn't balk about the price and let me have fun! I have found over and over again and I am sure many stagers have too that when a client gives you full rein witha project, it will turn out to benefit objectives: 1. To showcase the property to it's fullest potential, 2. Make the client happy and 3. Give you a sense of accomplishment and great photos to later market yourself. A bad client can make all of the above much more of a challenge and a drag on creativity, thus giving the homeowner and the property an un-just staging. The below photos are of this recent job. The homeonwer will soon have another property for us to stage.
