Realtors sold three Condos in Ormond By The Sea in January 2009 through the Daytona Beach Area Multiple Listing Service (MLS). All 3 sales were in direct oceanfront buildings. A one bedroom at Sands Point was sold by Marion O'Connor of Ocean View Realty Group for $95,000. A studio at Aquarius Condo sold for $116,900 and a 2 bedroom, 2 bath at Seawinds sold for $257,000. There were also 3 sales in January 2008 and January 2007. If we look back to January 2005 there were 13 sales. Except for two units, all of the 2005 sales were within 2 months of listing. The shortest time for a January 2008 Condo sale was almost 6 months from listing.

The newly expanded Ocean Center in Daytona Beach Florida, Volusia County's premier convention facility, will host its first convention that will utilize the entire facility on beginning January 28, 2009. Al sold us a condo in Ormond Beach in the mid 1990's, property (lot) in Palm Coast in the mid 1990's and a condo in Ormond Beach in 2007. Since we live in CT, we told Al what we were looking for. We wanted something close to the beach since it would be our vacation home. Al would email us pictures and specs of different condos. We live in CT and would schedule a date with Al to look at condos. It didn't matter how many we wanted to look at, Al never hesitated and did not push anything on us. He was always very professional as well as knowlegable and could answer our questions. If he couldnt answer our questions he would get us the answer. His staff is very courteous as well as knowlegable. Al's office also is in charge of renting our unit when we are not using it. Again, this is handled on a professional basis and we have not had any problems with renters. I would recommend Al and his staff for any real estate sales and/or rentals.
