Do You Have Room In Your Heart And Home? Consider Adopting One Of These Children.

Please consider giving one of these children a place in your heart and home.

November is National Adoption Month and time once again for the Heart Gallery of the Mid-Hudson. Orange, Putnam, Westchester and Ulster Departments of Social Services have collaborated on the 5th annual Heart Gallery of the Mid-Hudson, which opens in Orange County this Friday, November 13th in the Galleria Mall, Dicks courtyard.
Please join us for a special opening ceremony at 3 PM on Friday.
The Heart Gallery is a touching portrait exhibit of children and youth who are waiting for adoptive families and a home to call their own. A national movement, Heart Galleries have been very successful in raising awareness about adoption through foster care and the many children and youth who are waiting and hoping for adoptive families. After appearing in the Heart Gallery of the Mid-Hudson, over the past three years, nearly 40 children, many of them teens, sibling groups and those with special needs, have been adopted.
If you or anyone you know has ever considered adoption or would like to know more about adoption through foster care, please visit the Heart Gallery this weekend (November 13 - 15) and share this information with colleagues, friends and family. Don't miss the opportunity to see moving portraits of waiting children and youth from Orange and surrounding counties, and learn from their own words what being adopted would mean to them.
You can also visit our special adoption website AdoptOrangeCountyNY.org
Help change the life of a child - just by sharing this information, you could be the link to finding their forever family!
