Word just out that four of the best labor markets in the United States are in the Lone Star State of Texas. Portfolio.com writes that Austin Tx leads the way at #1..San Antonio is #2..Houston ranks #4 and Dallas Fort Worth comes in aover last yeart #5. The great city of Baton Rogue in Louisanna takes the third spot.

The study shows that all the cities in the study (100 cities) have lost jobs. The national decline is at 5% over last year but Texas decline is at 2.6%. Indications show that Texas will lead the nation in the coming recovery.

Property values in Texas has remained steady. This is due to the conservative appreciation rate of real estate and the relatively stable job market.
