Web Cam on Main in Dunedin, Florida

All the buzz about town these days is the new web cam on our Main Street, downtown Dunedin, Florida. I haven't tried it yet, but I am told that you can operate the camera right from your very own cp and have a closer look at our local shops and restaurants. It's so cool for visitors and locals alike. When the ideas was first introduced by our Chamber of Commerce several months back, I was delighted! Now folks can view us from anywhere in the world! I am also the proud step-mom of the cite's designer and webmaster! Just another reason why I love this town. Check it for yourself and see what a lovely town we are, right on the Gulf of Mexico on Florida's fantastic Gulf Coast.

Dunedin's Ice Cream Stop

I passed by our "Fritzee Freeze" at least a thousand times, never stopping by for a quick coke or an ice cream cone, so last night I was in the mood for some soft serve and my husband and I went to check it out. It was packed with folks from all over town. We kids and older folks too. We enjoyed an ice cream cone which I haven't had in a long time. Seemed real old fashioned yet delightful! Just one of the pleasures of living and working in our beloved Dunedin, Florida.

I Don't Do Rentals...

Lately, I have been getting alot of call from folks who want to rent property rather than buy it!! It seems to me that folks are just plain scared of buying. We have lots of inventory in our office as well as on the market and I know there are buyers out there who can afford to buy right now but I'm guessing that some folks are just plain holding back. Anyway I don't know of any rental available in Dunedin, Florida. If there are any readers who have some seasonal or annual rentals in Dunedin, please let me know and I will pass the word....

No home in Dunedin, Florida for Fay

We were out of town when the announcement about Fay's turn toward Florida was broadcast on TV, so we headed home to batten down the hatches and once again we were lucky not to have the big storm hit us. Pinellas County has been lucky for the past few years surviving the hurricane season without too much damage. My heart goes out to those however, who haven't been as blessed as out little small town has been. A Cat 1 could do some damage right here on our little coastal town. Once again, this time we didn't need the extra batteries and water, but some folks were less than polite about getting what they thought they so desparately needed. So remember folks, those of you who could possibly take a hit, get prepared early we still gotta get thru November first....
