SEO and Chocolate Can we live without either?

October 14th is a day that is going to live in my memory for a very long time for two reasons. Firstly its the five week anniversary of my total abstinance from chocolate (a world record for me as its 15 years since I have been this long without my favorite snack) and secondly I have just managed to get my website www.paulsold.com on page 1 of Google for Melbourne Fl homes!!!!! So the simple answer for Realtors is we can live without chocs but not SEO but doing both is very hard and to get me thru working on SEO I need CHOCOLATE. I also have to mention that English and or Swiss chocolate is much better than American but its only my opinion and I will eat it if I cant find anything else. So having shared this with everybody and to prove you read it all to the end I have a question for all you SEO Activerain buffs out there. Can someone please direct me towards some info on achieving H2, H3 tags etc. Thanks.

The Common Theme or The need for Minimum Standards.

A number of posts recently have underlyingly had a similar theme " The Need for Minimum Standards ". Tales of Agents lack of responses to emails, telephone calls, offers, client concerns, listing details and general public behaviour are almost a daily occurence on this site as well as less popular ones. Why? Do you work and treat your clients the same way as you would expect to be treated or even better? How do we score ourselves against other Agents and how many do we know or know of that lower our overall min. standard in our neighborhoods. With what I have read recently no wonder the general public think the average Agent comes under the ranking of a used car salesman but what can be done. My thoughts are that there are two avenues that can improve the situation and they both involve training, one thru N.A.R. and the other thru The Agents Broker. With N.A.R. up the entry level standards required to pass the exams and add an extra module to the ethics classes about min. standards of work, which could also be added to our every 4 year update. As for The Brokers they need to realize their company reputation is only as good as their worst Agent and should spend more time following up on their Agents work etc. I should point out that my Broker offers weekly one on one meetings if I require it and always stresses that he is always just a phone call away at all times. So lets all push our Brokers to make 2010 a better year for all of us and not just in monetary terms but in Standards.

The Power of Photographs.

TO ALL ACTIVERAINERS AND REALTORS

MY CONCERN TODAY IS WITH ALL THE SYNDICATION THAT IS AVAILABLE TO US AND THE HUGE USUAGE OF THE INTERNET WHY ARE SO MANY REAL ESTATE AGENTS CONTINUALLY LETTING THEIR CLIENTS DOWN BY NOT SUPPLYING MORE THAN 1 PHOTO WITH THEIR LISTINGS.
THE FIRST JOB WITH A NEW BUYER OR RENTER ONCE YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT THEY ARE LOOKING FOR IS TO EMAIL THEM SOME CHOICES FOR THEIR CONSIDERATION AND THEY ALWAYS WANT TO SEE PICTURES. SO WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU FIND A LISTING WITH NONE OR JUST ONE PHOTO YOU SKIP OVER IT AND SELECT ANOTHER LISTING. THE OLD ADDAGE "A PICTURE IS WORTH A THOUSAND WORDS" COULD NOT BE MORE APPLICABLE IN RELATION TO REAL ESTATE.
SO I HAVE A PLEA, PLEASE PLEASE TAKE PLENTY OF PHOTOS BECAUSE YOUR VIEWINGS WILL INCREASE AND YOUR LISTING WILL BE SOLD OR RENTED MUCH MUCH QUICKER.
