Mobile Austin Notary announces a new company controller has been hired. We are proud to announce Judy Peterson as our new company controller who started last week. With the growth of our company even in this very bleak real estate and economic market. Mobile Austin Notary is to the point where a company controller is needed to stay organized, able to complete billing in a lightening fast manner and to continue to grow the company.

Judy's experience includes payroll, payroll taxes, quarterly reports, P & L, financial statements,
accounts payable, accounts receivable, account reconciliation, monthly closing, and designing of specially requested company reports. She has over 25 Years experience with bookkeeping and accounting.

She is also ADP Onsite Accounting certified.

We call her the "Jedi Master Yoda" of bookkeeping for us.

Judy will also help Mobile Austin Notary streamline both it's accounting processes and database management functions.

Judy was born and raised in Arkansas. (Please no booing here from you Texas Longhorn Fans, she doesn't even like the Razorbacks thank God. Duh...we couldn't of hired here if she did!)

She's a young 63 years old at heart, has one adult 34 year old daughter. Her husband is big time fisherman, so watch out Babe Winkelman you got some competition.

They also have a beautiful Siberian Husky named Laska. Judy says, "Laska does not like anyone's voice raised and if they do, he stands right in front of me so no body can get to me." So word to the wise, you better pay your bills on time with Mobile Austin Notary people, otherwise Judy will sick Laska our new company mascot on you! :O

Judy describes herself as a really laid back person. (Shocking a bookkeeper/accountant that is laid back, i know your all surprised). She loves to cook and create exotic meals for family and others. Were still waiting patiently for her to cook and send us some cakes or pies pronto.

Judy's leisure time is spent watching politics (we won't tell you if she's a Republican or Democrat sorry we got to keep her somewhat of a mystery), suspense movies, and reading. (We think she looks like everyone's favorite sweet high school librarian, what do you think?)

Twitter we've all heard about this phenom thingy. What is Twitter exactly, how do you use it properly and why the hell should you most certainly be using it in the real estate or any other industry on the planet?

For starters as of today...

Twitter is already the 36th most visited website in the world and climbing fast, I expect it to hit top 20 website by the end of the year or higher. That's a pretty good reason to get yourself on there and benefit from the immense traffic on the site.

Next Twitter is estimated to have 100 million members possibly by the end of 2009. 100 Million, compare that to the small 150,729 ActiveRain members currently

Over HALF of all Twitter members are age 35 or older.

Over 51% of Twitters make over $60,000 a year.

Twitter is NOT Myspace or Facebook, or what we call the teenie bopper and booty call sites.

This is the TRUE POWER of Twitter, that's never been seen before in the marketing, sales and business world.

Twitter also helps you build your incoming links to your personal or business blog and website for free. The more followers you have and tweets you do, the more incoming backlinks you will generate to your sites. More links = more traffic = higher search rankings more the keywords your going for = more $$$ for YOU!

Wikipedia states: Twitter is a free social networking and micro-blogging service that enables its users to send and read other users' updates known as tweets. Tweets are text-based posts of up to 140 characters in length which are displayed on the user's profile page and delivered to other users who have subscribed to them (known as followers).

So like a regular blog that you may have on ActiveRain, Wordpress or Blogger. You can build your personal brand in your niche, you can grow and show your expertise in your field, you can help educate and inform potential prospects on your Twitter profile.
