It's located in the heart of Tysons Corner with shopping just around the corner. It is also right across the street from a major transit station and has quick access to the Dulley Toll Road and I-495. There's also a Harris Teeter grocery store nearby. Walkscore rates this location "Very Walkable."

The average DOM for the one-bedroom condos for sale at Fountains at McLean was only 8 days! This means that the properties are flying off the shelf! A look at the past year shows that 1-bedroom condos have had decreasing DOM for the past year, making these properties highly sought after in McLean. December's Season of Celebration and Sharing - Bull Run Festival of Lights

Do you enjoy driving around your neighborhood to check out the holiday lights? If so, you need to visit the Bull Run Festival of Lights! This unique Northern Virginia holiday attraction is now open through January 8th! The Bull Run Festival of Lights is a drive-through holiday display of lights. They also have a fantastic Santa Light Show (check out the video below). Here's the info you need:

  • Fee: You pay by car (so pack it in!) - $20 on the weekends and holidays, $15 during the weekday. There's a $3 off coupon during the weekday on the event website.
  • Hours: Open 7 days a week starting at 5:30pm. Weekdays run through 9:30pm, Weekends through 10pm.
  • Address: Bull Run Regional Park - 7700 Bull Run Drive, Centreville, VA 20121. (map)
  • It's recommended you go during the weekday to avoid traffic. The drive is one lane, so if there's a lot of cars going slowly to see the lights, it can seem like you're sitting in traffic the whole time.

December’s Season of Celebrations & Sharing - National Harbor Holiday Activities

If you venture across the Potomac River to the National Harbor in Maryland, you won't be disappointed this holiday season. They are offering a variety of events throughout the holiday season:

Holiday Light Show

Free nightly Tree Lighting and Holiday Light Show runs every half hour from sunset until 10pm. Check out the video below (and look for the guy dancing in front of the tree!)


Friday Night Fun, Food, and Fireworks
Every Friday night, they have a "Friday Night Fun, Food, and Fireworks" every Friday in December from 6-9pm on the Plaza by the big Christmas Tree. The fireworks are at 7pm, right after the light show at the Christmas Tree.

Brightest Start Fountain Show Make sure to also check out the Gaylord National Convention Center's water fountain show. Occurs daily at 6:30pm and 9:30pm.
