I never thought I would be using persistence and patience in the same sentence. I am learning that it takes a lot of both to make it in the real estate business. As I sit here negotiating an offer I am having to exercise a lot of patience to get calls returned. You know the deal--offer--counter offer--counter the counter offer! Oh well--all I can hope is that in the end it all pays off. I think that is what makes being a realtor more exciting. Every day is a new day and it's not the same old boring job. It is definitely a learning experience every day of your career. I am probably a little better with the patience than the persistence on the listing side, however if you are my buyer the persistent side comes out. I definitely am not a pushy realtor but believe in working for my client to get the deal done.
I am glad to see that Greenville and the surrounding areas are being picked to add new jobs. Greenville Hospital System, BMW are both adding and the new co. Nova Srew picked SC as a top place to add a new place. While they are small, we hope they will grow here and find SC a profitable pick. I also noticed SYKES coming to Greenwood. Thanks to all of these companies for contributing to SC!!
Congratulations to the Easley/Powdersville office of Prudential C. Dan Joyner Co., realtors located in SC for being in 1st place from January to August, with more than twice the sales volume of our nearest competitor. This feat is incredible during these tough economic times and can only be credited to hard work and great marketing. Our office is located in Piedmont on the corner of Highway 153 and Highway 81, but we will soon be building a new officce in the Southern Center with visibility on Highway 123 & Highway 153. Congratulations to all for a job well done--you are most deserving. May people continue to Call The Best when considering any type of real estate transaction.
