Previewed 16 homes in Marin this week ranging in price from $569,000 to $2,495,000. Favorite was an architecturally significant home with good bones in Kentfield, priced at $1,650,000. Attended an information packed three hour workshop put on by Coldwell Banker about short sales, looks like there will be more short sales coming to market at all price ranges. This week I note about 80 properties in Marin are in pre foreclosure (behind on their loan payments) 4 of those in Belvedere and Tiburon, I hope some of the home owners can be helped out by the new proposals approved in Washington today.
