Happy Birthday Rabbie!

For all you Scottish followers out there...today is a celebration in Scotland "The 250th anniversary of the birth of Robert Burns." A weekend of celebration is underway around Scotland. Traditional Burns Suppers will be held as far afield as Kazakhstan and Malawi, Moscow and Sydney, but the focal point of this weekend's Scottish festivities will be Alloway in Ayrshire, the village where Burns was born in 1759. This is just a small sample of "The Scottish Poets" work that will be recited around the world this weekend:

, MY Luve's like a red, red rose,
That's newly sprung in June.
O, my Luve's like the melodie,
That's sweetly play'd in tune.
As fair art thou, my bonie lass,
So deep in luve am I,
And I will luve thee still, my dear,
Till a' the seas gang dry.
Till a' the seas gang dry, my dear,
And the rocks melt wi' the sun!
And I will luve thee still, my dear,
While the sands o' life shall run.
Robert Burns (25 January 1759 - 21 July 1796) (also known as Rabbie Burns, Scotland's favourite son, the Ploughman Poet, the Bard of Ayrshire and in Scotland as simply The Bard
I have great memories of my Nana reciting ‘Rabbie Burns' poetry to me, many many moons ago....Happy Birthday Rabbie!

Life is What You Make It! Smile!

Ok so here is my thought for Friday! This week, I have heard a lot of "oh its a bad market, things are tough in Real Estate, theres no money to make in Real Estate, Its just too hard......and on and on. Guys...IT IS WHAT IT IS!! Let's just embrace the good things in life, family, friends, health and what little money there is out there. There is money to be made, all be it less than in the past, and you have to work a lot harder to obtain it...but it IS there. So everyone say after me...positive thinking, positive thinking, positive thinking...and smile...someone who was having a bad day, might even pick up on your positive attitude...and smile back! Happy weekend! :)
