There had to be a better way --- someone was telling me that with everyone home for Thanksgiving and the fact that they use a ton of dishes each day, their poor dishwasher and their poor wallet were screaming for help. (sorry dishwasher...I can't help you)

But I came across a great little website that has tips for many different way to create your home at home cleaners, crafts, dog biscuit recipes, etc.

I made the dishwasher detergent with 1 cup of Baking soda and 1 cup of Borax. They do encourage putting vinegar in the rinse cycle, or if you wish, some essential oils.. (maybe that is the Lemony Fresh idea)

I personally had tried to the make at home dog biscuits before..and my dog really liked them. Made from Peanut Butter and Wheat flour.. I just find that they don't keep as long as store bought. But, I am going to try and freeze some for a later date.

There is still money out there to lend to people who want to purchase homes. The criteria may be a bit tighter and could change daily, but it is still available to those who qualify.

This just might be the best time to buy - maybe not the best to be one of the ones that NEEDS to sell....If more people who are ready and able to buy, would make the purchase, they would be an integral part of getting things back on track. In order for homes to sell, people must buy them.

Yes, inventory is high, and if you want the best one available, you should act soon. Most buyers stay in their homes for quite a few years and the probability of the home increasing in value historically is quite high.

I do believe that the inventory is beginning to dwindle (of the GOOD houses) due to their having to compete with the short sales and pre-foreclosures. Some may take their home off of the market during the holiday season, which may leave primarily short sale and pre-foreclosure or bank owned properties on the market. Often they are in need of some tender loving care - sometimes, not.

If you are in the market to make a purchase, please remember that it is likely that you CAN GET A LOAN and that you can achieve homeownership.
