Manalapan Day - I Look Forward To Meeting You And Seeing You There

06-05-09
Phyllis Katz

Next Saturday, June 13th is Manalapan Day. It a a fun day for people to come with their families. There are many fun activities planned for the whole family. It looks like Mickey Dolenz is scheduled to perform there (I don't know what time exactly). I will be there at the Weichert Booth From 4-6. Please come! I would love to meet you there. If you have any concerns and questions about real estate, please feel free to bring these along. It is a great time for us to get to know each other and discuss the real estate market, along with any needs that you have. So, whether you are a buyer, seller, or renter, please stop by and say "hello".

Note: If it rains, I believe the rain date is the following week on 6/20.

Sincerely,

Phyllis Katz, Weichert Realtors, Marlboro, NJ

The Time To Buy Is Here! Hurry While The Great Deals Last!

05-19-09
Phyllis Katz

The springtime is here and it is a fabulous time to buy real estate!!! Interest rates are really low, and so are the prices. If you are a FIRST TIME HOME BUYER, then you may qualify for an $8,000 tax credit if you purchase a house and close by 11/30/2009! What a deal! I wish I was a first time home buyer!

Now, if you are only concerned about buying at the very, very, very bottom, then you probably won't know what hit you when the prices start going up along with the interest rates. And, there is no guarantee that the $8,000 tax credit will be extended after 11/30/2009.

So, there is no time like the present!

Best wishes!

If You Think You Cannot Sell Your House For What You Would Like To Get, Then Why Not Rent It?

If you really believe that you cannot achieve financially what you want to in today's real estate market by selling your house, why not rent it? Isn't it better to get some money in monthly to cover your expenses, than no money at all? I have found that in some situations, where some people are really struggling but do not want to lose their homes, or take a huge hit financially, this may be a solution. I have found that there are renters out there that right now do not want to purchase. Don't you agree? Please feel free to contact me and I will show you how I can help you.

Although I Am Optimistic, When Will Real Estate Get Better? I'd Love To Hear Your Opinion!

Hi! Every time I watch TV lately I get depressed. None of the news (world or economic) is good. Somewhere there are people getting killed, people are starving, losing their jobs or their homes. We've been through this before, so I don't know why it is so much more depressing than usual.

Anyway, we were so excited about getting a new President. Everyone was looking forward to getting change and things were supposed to get better. Even with the proposed stimulus package it still does not sound so good. Will more people start selling their homes after the President takes office? Will it get better in March or April? I am still hoping so. I would love to hear your opinion. Please respond. It will either make me feel good, in sync with others, or bad. Or it may give me more to think about.

Thank you.

My Very First Blog! I am Very Optimistic For 2009!

I signed up a couple of months ago to be on Active Rain. Sometimes things happen in life unexpectedly that interrupt your plans, as is what happened to me. I was sitting at my home computer planning out my entire day, when I started to have some pain. This continued, and to make a long story short, I ended up in the hospital. But, that was then, and now is now. So, I am now starting with my first blog a little on the late side. I am completely well now, and looking forward to 2009! After what I went through, I am now very optimistic.

I know that for some, times are very, very tough. But in every market, there are always people that have needs that cause them to move. I am also very hopeful that the low interest rates will entice people to move. I, myself, have had 2 houses and never had interest rates like they are today!

Wishing Everyone A Very Happy New Year, Along With Good Health, And All Good Things!
