About Us:

• We work together as a husband & wife REALTOR team at Re/Max Mountain Realty. This enables us to cover for each other during the many "peaks and valleys" of our very demanding profession.
• We are members of the Western North Carolina Regional Multiple Listing Service. This provides us with access to and the ability to market all professionally listed properties throughout our area. This gives both our Sellers and our Buyers better exposure to the marketplace.
• We are both detail oriented and maintain contact with out clients throughout the process. Whether we are helping "first-time or veteran" Real Estate clients, we do not take anything for granted along the way. Our duty is to inform our clients throughout each step. We have been in the service industry all our professional lives. We conduct all of our Real Estate activities with an emphasis on honesty and excellance in service!
• We recognize and understand the importance of being accessible to our clients throughout the process. We sincerely try to adapt our schedules to our clients needs. We publicly advertise our office and cell phone numbers. We are as close as one phone call away. We truly do respond to our clients as well as situations that occur during the course of a transaction. We are full time REALTORS, no conflicts with other jobs. We keep up with technology. We utilize an email service to accommodate the modern day Buyer or Seller. This enables us to access information, documents, and records at any time. Whether from the field or from the office. We maintain our own personal web site, which enables us to attract new Buyers. Also, this allows us to rotate and feature our own personal listings.
• We are innovative. We respect and use tradition methods, however, our clients deserve more. We promote, market, and solicit for the betterment of our Buyers and Sellers. Some examples: mailers around targeted neighborhoods to generate Buyers and Sellers, custom flyer's, emailing listing sheets/photos/documents, detailed "feature list" on most listings, creative and nontraditional photo's whenever possible, and virtual tours when appropriate.
• We endeavor to develop and maintain satisfied, loyal, and happy clients. We have a strong base of repeat customers and referrals and have created many friendships throughout our Real Estate activities. We are in this business for profit and pleasure and we continue to succeed at both. We recognize that if we put our clients needs first and then satisfy them, our personal needs seem to fall into place. We never put compensation ahead of our clients.
• You might expect all of the above as "norm". Unfortunately a lot of what WE do as REALTOR'S is not typical of many other REALTOR'S. We work harder than most others in our profession. • Ellis was the REALTOR of the Year in 2004 and again in 2006. He was the 2006 President of the Board of REALTORS, he is a member of NAR, NCAR, Haywood County Board of REALTORS and WNCRMLS. Ellis has been a Rotarian since 1986, he is a Paul Harris Fellowship recipient, Past President of the Rotary Club, a member of Haywood Leadership Alumni and a member of the Community Service Committee. He has also earns his CRS designation.
• Patty is a member of NAR, NCAR, Haywood County Board of REALTORS and WNCRMLS. She is currently the Secretary for the Haywood County Board of REALTORS, she serves on the Community Service Committee and the Professional Standards Committee. Patty has earned her CRS Certification as well as e-Pro. Patty is also a member of Altrusa.
• Ellis & Patty owned and enjoyed a vacation home in Haywood County since 1988 and permanently moved to the area in 1999. As a result, they have a strong relationship to vacation home buyers & sellers as well as people moving into the area. We have 2 children and 3 grandchildren.
