Countywide Open House event in Whatcom County

Here is your opportunity to view many open houses throughout Whatcom County! On April 18th & 19th the Whatcom County Association of Realtors is putting on the first Countywide Open House event with over 650 homes open over the two days.

The homes are scheduled to be open from 11 - 1pm and 2 - 4pm on both days. To get a listing of all the homes pick-up a copy of the Bellingham Herald on Saturday, April 18th and pull out the 16 page insert. The Open House Insert has relevant real estate related articles, open house listings, advertisers and a display of the sponsors who helped make this event happen.

Additionally, the current issue of the Pacific Northwest Homes real estate guide displays information about the event as well as a webpage with all the listings posted.

In a nutshell, pick up the Bellingham Herald on April 18th, go look at open houses, enter drawings and eat cookies while consulting with Realtors, Bankers and other affiliates.

Cupcakes in Historic Fairhaven

Katie's Cupcakes has opened in Historic Fairhaven. Whether you want your treat to go or relax for a few moments in the pink club chairs and watch Fairhaven go by through the front window, it will be a delicious endeavor.

These delectable treats come in a variety of flavors ranging from the Chocoholic to Lemon to Red Velvet and my favorite the Irish Car Bomb, which was featured on opening day; St. Patrick's Day. The frosting is exquistely creamy and the cake moist.
