About Us:

We are the Ray Team with Keller Williams Realty of Redding, California! We come to Real Estate as long time residents here in Shasta County, 23 years combined. Wynn from a teaching/coaching background; he taught freshman English and coached wrestling. I chide that I am married to the likes of Waldo when he is often recognized by former students and athletes. Once at the top of Castle Crags and even as far as Yellowstone Park! It is a delight to see them grown and wanting to say hello and introduce a spouse and child. Prior to Real Estate, I was a General Manager of a local corporate restaurant for 10 years. We raised four daughters here in Redding, all Redding residents now, with the exception of one away in college at Pepperdine University in Malibu. Our family has expanded to include a son-in-law and three grandchildren. We are very blessed to get to enjoy our family, living and working in the North State. We love to entertain, hike, camp, kayake, and explore the many waterfalls in the area. Our children grew up on the local rivers. Even our college student in Malibu prefers the greenery, mountain tops and white water! With Real Estate we get to do business sharing our love of the North State and welcome newcomers from as far and wide with our website reach, as New York State, England, South Korea, Arizona, Michigan...what a way to connect to the world! It gets better each year.

Areas of Expertise

We specialize in the buying side: first time buyers, out of town buyers, referrals to and from. The buyer needs service and we provide it by previewing properties daily, knowing the inventory in any given price point range, and maximizing our showing time by thoroughly interviewing and qualifying our buyers prior to going out. They are impressed and we are satisfied that we gave excellent service, assisting them with one of the most important decisions of their purchasing power. We do have listings and get listings regularly and anticipate future listing business through our buyers. However, as we have gotten started, now almost 4 years in the business, we have found a nitch with attending the buyer's needs with service and knowledge of the area, as well as local market and inventory knowledge. We educate them through the processes of narrowing down a property, framing up the offer, escrow, financing, inspection and disclosure. We stay close to them afterwards offering transitional information to help them settle in to their new home and often times new community and state. We recieve calls from them like old friends once they have settled in, asking where the best antique shops are, where a nice pic nic area is close by, what restaurant to take a visiting relative or friend to...We are building a lifetime of business and have closed deals as far out as 1 1/2 years on the time line. It takes patience, but it has been rewarding.We have made ourselves a Shasta County Real Estate resource to buyers, potential buyers and their referrals. It keeps us informed to keep them informed.
