Feng Shui Apartment in Queens New York
I have been providing Feng Shui Consultations in Queens NY for many years now. While not that far from Long Island New York, it's almost as if you're in another land. Queens New York is SO diverse in every area that you go to. This most recent Feng Shui Consultation took me to Springfield Gardens in Queens NY.
The Queens NY Apartments didn't appear nearly as lovely from the outside as they were once you stepped inside. They were open and filled with light, something that is sometimes in short supply in apartments whether they are in Queens or New York City.
Many of my Feng Shui Clients are already well versed in Feng Shui from books they have read or courses they have taken but they still feel they need an expert in the field. This lovely Feng Shui Client was making some major life adjustments and we helped her to create the Area of HELPFUL PEOPLE to give her added support during this time.
Her bedroom, a ‘sacred space' was another room where we made many adjustments and did a complete re-design of the space. The rest of the apartment had very good Feng Shui, particularly her use of The Five Elements we use in Feng Shui. She had addressed them through the colors.
The Five Elements of Feng Shui are: Water, Earth, Wood, Fire and Metal. We feel a balance of the Five Elements to be an important aspect of Feng Shui. She'd also read about the properties of crystals. She'd decided to MAKE this gorgeous chandelier on her own and she told me she'd gone to a lighting store and the Crystals were very inexpensive.
In Feng Shui, Crystals are used for different reasons including diffusing Energy in a space. The light reflections in this were beautiful. Feng Shui Apartment.
Small Adjustments needed here, otherwise a very warm and inviting space. The back Left Hand Corner is WEALTH...already addressed with a thriving plant.
I wonder if the Queens Apartment Complex had Feng Shui in mind....Water graces people (and Energy) into a space:

New York City. People say you either LOVE it or you hate it and I've always found that to be true.
As a New York City Feng Shui Consultant, I find myself all over: Uptown, Downtown and in some very special places I had not before heard about such as Tudor City New York. A beautiful city within a City.
I remember speaking to a man in Paris who wanted to visit New York City as much as I'd wanted to visit HIS beautiful city. He spoke about the Skyscrapers and said he'd flown over them once but had not been able to make it to New York.
I hope we miss the Beauty of New York City....it's all around us! This picture was taken Uptown after coming out of a Feng Shui Consultation on 5th Avenue.

Feng Shui in Lindenhurst Long Island New York & Real Estate Agents on The MLS
Years ago, the lovely Long Island NY town of Lindenhurst New York wasn't doing very well. The Village of Lindenhurst wanted to help Main Street become vibrant and alive again so they turned to one of my former Mentors, Pamela Laurence with some grant money to instill some good Feng Shui back into the town.
And that's exactly what she did! She revitalized the Village of Lindenhurst New York while working within the allotted budget to encourage business owners to rent again and attract people back to this lovely Long Island New York town. It worked.
Today, Lindenhurst and it's lovely Main Street is once again a thriving town despite the economy. It's interesting to note that while some people still don't believe in Feng Shui, there are incredible success stories such as this one and many people have become firm believers.
Real Estate Agents on Long Island NY have an interest in Feng Shui but many don't really have an understanding of it, even now. They are not sure how it will affect buyers and most aren't even aware of their client's interest in it. Often times when someone is seriously considering a purchase, they will finally tell their Realtor they would like to get another perspective---A New York Feng Shui Perspective.
While not yet ready to leave Long Island New York, I was searching on the MLS recently to see what homes were being offered and what the taxes and sale prices were. I also look at the description for the APPEARANCE because not many pictures, if ANY, are shots taken inside the house. I don't know if it's laziness but it makes me believe there is SOMETHING they don't want the consumer to know.
I came across a home that looked promising. Much lower taxes then I am presently paying and I would likely be able to sell my home at a higher price. I double checked both the price of the home and the taxes and went to look at the description.

A New York Feng Shui Consultant and TIME by Feng Shui Long Island & NY
As a Feng Shui New York Consultant, I used to run by TIME, not ENERGY. I had to rush through everything I did so I would be on time for one thing or another. I never had the time to slow down and take in the beauty around me; I was simply run by TIME.
When I decided to become a full time Feng Shui Consultant and left my old Corporate job, the first thing I did was throw away my watch. Here in New York especially, everyone is in a hurry. Cars honk BEFORE the light turns green and as much as I love the Energy in New York City, people will push past you if you don't keep up.
I am not run by time anymore. I have my alarm clock to wake me up for my Feng Shui and other appointments and I can use my cell phone if I need to see the time. I have the luxury of not having to rush ANYWHERE.
It is such a pleasure to be able to stop somewhere that I find interesting or want to see more of. It is a pleasure not to have to rush anyone else, either. One of the wonderful things of getting older is being able to truly Stop and Smell the Roses.
