Recently HOme GAin, an internet real estate home value site, conducted a survey of 700 agents across the country regarding home values, and the perception that buyers and sellers have of home values in their area. Here are the national and regional results:

Wisconsin must be full of positive thinkers, Here are the results for http://blog.homegain.com/homegain/realtors%C2%AE-give-thumbs-down-to-obama-stimulus-plan/
63% of those surveyed think home prices will stabilize, and 13% think they will increase! Lets hope that comes true!

St Patricks Day was always one of those FUN holidays at our house...Since it is my name's day (Patricia....Patrick....maybe this is a religious thing?) it always stuck out on the calendar...
When my kids were little, the Leprechauns ALWAYS visited and played tricks on them! Being a crafty fun
loving mom, I was up early, planting the necessary drops of food color in strategic places... When the kids got up, the first one to flush the toilet saw the new fresh water GREEN! When pouring milk for breakfast, all of a sudden the gallon of milk turned the prettiest emerald GREEN! What was up with that? It must have been a Leprechaun! Of course the Leprechauns were always too fast, and we never saw them.
By the time the boys got to middle school, they thought it was lame, but the Leprechauns still kept coming...Guess what? Now my oldest has little ones, and guess who visits them? Those lame Leprechauns....turning the same things green.....so tradition lives on!
While Milwaukee may have a deep German heritage, on March 17th, everyone is Irish.
You can join in the celebrations in many different ways. Stop in any local tavern for some green beer. Many local eateries will have corned beef and cabbage on the menu. There will be a big parade in downtown Milwaukee on Saturday:
Milwaukee's 43rd Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade 2009

The 43rd annual St Patrick's Day Parade will take place in Downtown Milwaukee. The Parade is presented by The Shamrock Club of Wisconsin in Partnership with the Westown Association. Our city celebrated the nation's 7th earliest St. Pat's Parade in 1843
But the big event is in the town of Erin just west of Germantown.

My son, who took this photo was amused by the guesses, but said it was unfair for me to not have any hints...So thanks to Tad Peterson, the first clue is Europe...
