The Former Tara Hospital in Brownsville will Re-open as the new Brownsville Tri-County Hospital. The dedication ceremony is scheduled for 10 am, July 31, 2008.
Uniontown Hospital continues progress on it's expansion. The expansion includes a new emergency department to offer the most advanced care in the region, reconfiguration of outpatient services and a patient tower with private rooms. When you visit Uniontown PA, you should be sure to make time to visit the George C. Marshall Memorial off Main Street at the 5 corners. This Memorial is especially beautiful in the spring and summer months. General George C Marshall was born in Uniontown PA on December 31, 1880. He was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1953 for his Marshall Plan which helped rebuild Europe after World War II.
I just found out about the Coal and Coke Music Festival that is scheduled at Penn State, Eberly Campus on September 27, 2008.
