We will always remember the loss of 9/11/2001

This morning I woke up and realized that the world is still forever changed by the horrific acts of terror upon the world trade center. As I watched the old footage I remember exactly what I was doing as those planes hit the towers.

Since then we have been at war, a very expensive war. A war which reflects the very volitile nature of the world of today. As I watched the planes hit the tower I shed a tear for those who have suffered and those who continue to suffer. Are we any closer to living in a safer world? Closer to doomsday?

The answer is yes on both accounts. With the turn over of the Anbar province back to the Iraqies I believe we have come a long way in our war on terror. People are still very much worried about more acts of terror. Now I believe we have a new threat. Iranians coming to our country to kill us through Russia.

I heard a story the other day of an Iranian who stole some lady's ID and Credit Card information and tried to use it to travel to Russia from Iran. This person was reported to the FBI and local authorities. They wanted to travel on 9/11 and that is the scary part. I am glad the travel agent was aware enough to contact someone and realized that this was not right, and I hope that people all over the country can also be so aware.

Here at home our economy is fading fast, prices are going up at record rates, and the housing market is as soft as its ever been. In this time of turbulance one thing is for sure. The United States of America will never go away, never bow down to terror, and never turn its back on those who so bravely sacrifice.

Please remember those who perrished, those who bravely serve to correct the wrongs of the few, and those who continue to work to make our home as safe as it can be.

Every Dog has its day

It seems like every transaction with every realtor in our area is getting tougher and tougher. My last experience with a local firm in Wisconsin Dells just blew me away.

If you have ever had someone shop your offer to other potential buyers it really ticks you off. Its really bad when they actually disclose parts of the offer in order to generate more interest. In my situation they actually stopped presenting my counter offers. Not much you can do unless they lose their buyer in the process which would no doubt get the seller exteremely angry.

In tough times it really shows you how dirty this business can be. In fact, I have learned that I really don't like other realtors for their willingness to go to extremes to make a deal. They use tools like dishonesty, badmouthing, and rumors to encourage people to pick them....the EXPERTS.

Well I sure hope that at some point these people get what they deserve. In fact I hope that everyone gets what they deserve.
