About Us:

Before real estate, Randa El Zein worked as an interior designer for almost 10 years. She got her bachelor’s degree in Interior design from Lebanon, and shortly after in 2001, she got a Master’s diploma in Interior and Product design from Italy.

Interior designers draw upon many disciplines to enhance the function, safety, and aesthetics of interior spaces. They are concerned with how different colors, textures, furniture, lighting, and space work together to meet the needs of a building’s occupants. Randa was involved in planning the interior spaces of almost all types of buildings—offices, airport terminals, shopping malls, restaurants, hotels, and most of all private residences, all in the United Arab Emirates, where she lived with her family.

Randa focused on decorating: choosing a style and color palette and then selecting appropriate furniture, floor and window coverings, artwork, and lighting. However, she also was involved in designing architectural detailing, such as crown molding and built-in bookshelves, or planning layouts of buildings, frequently collaborating with architects, electricians, and building contractors to ensure that her designs are safe and meet construction requirements.She developed a timeline for the project and ensured that it is completed on time, including coordinating the work schedules of contractors if necessary, and oversaw the installation of the design elements, and after the project was completed, together with the client, paid follow-up visits to the building site to ensure that the client is satisfied with the final product.

Randa worked with an American furniture manufacturer and retailer since having arrived in Canada and until June 2006, when she decided to get into real estate. Now she is a member of CDECA, the Canadian Decorator’s Association.

As a benefit to her clients as a real estate agent, she got her CSP, Canadian Staging Professional™ designation to better assist them with the sale of their homes. Canadian Staging Professionals™ gain extensive skills and knowledge to target market and apply broad appeal to any property for sale, making it stand out from the competition. Staging improves the condition of a house, helping secure equity and decreasing the time it sits on the market. Also, a staged property provides beautiful photos and virtual tours, which attract more buyers to showings; what that means to the client is more offers and increasing the opportunity to sell the listing on the first round of marketing.
