I took one of my favorite watches in for a new battery to a local jewelery store in downtown Lodi, CA on School St.
To my surprise, the young man working there said that my watch took not only two, but THREE batteries! I couldn't believe it! I shouldn't be too surprised though. It IS a pretty special watch...at least to ME anyways.
It's not that expensive of a watch, but I'm sure once you take a close look at it, you'll agree that it's pretty darn special. No, it's not a kids' watch, but sometimes I feel like a kid when I'm wearing it, and sometimes I even feel heroic.
By the way, the Bat Symbol can be set to 'flash' on and off or just stay 'on' all the time. THAT's actually why it takes three batteries instead of one. Two of the batteries are just for the flashing Bat Symbol alone. Cool, huh?

Thank you Danz Jewelers for getting me back in action so I can fight those Short Sale lenders and know exactly how much time they're wasting by not approving these Short Sales in Lodi, and Stockton areas fast enough.
I recently wrote about the Downtown Lodi Farmers Market as being one of the many draws for Lodi, CA as well as many other cities around the country. Now I'd like to introduce you to our annual Lodi Grape Festival that is running tomorrow, Sept 16, through this coming Sunday, Sept 19.
The Lodi Grape Festival is a huge attraction for the city of Lodi itself, but also for the local economy and businesses, like the hotels, restaurants, gas stations, etc. The festival's main purpose is to promote the agriculture in the San Joaquin Valley. There will be many attractions and fun things to keep all who attend entertained throughout the event.
There will be a carnival, petting zoo, reptile exhibit, many area businesses on display, concerts, fair food, art show, etc., etc.. You'll want to come early and stay late, and enjoy everything that the Lodi Grape Festival has to offer. Advanced purchase of tickets is recommended if you don't want to stand in line to enter.

What will the festival do for the local real estate market? I'm hopeful that the people attending the festival from out of the area will see what a wonderful community we have here in Lodi, CA, and perhaps consider moving to Lodi and maybe even buying one of the many homes for sale here in town. There are great deals on Short Sales and REO foreclosures in Lodi as well as Stockton, Galt, Lockeford, and surrounding areas. The market is all about supply and demand. We have a good supply and some areas are in high demand.

Hello and welcome to knowing more about me.
I was born in French Camp, CA and grew up & went to school in Stockton, CA. I attended Lottie Grunsky Elementary, Stockton Junior High and finished off at Lincoln High School Class of 1980.
I was hired right out of high school at the phone company. That was back at a time that you could actually just say phone company and people knew who you were referring to. Today however, there are many different companies in the telecommunications industry. When I first started working there it was called Pacific Telephone & Telegraph. Soon after, through divestiture, we become know as Pacific Bell, the name by which most people in my generation remember more fondly. Later on we had another "buy out" and our name became SBC, and then finally what it is now AT&T. I retired after 24 years right before the last name change.
I retired from the "phone company" so that I could start a new chapter in my life by pursuing a career in real estate, and I have never regretted it. I love working with people face-to-face, and being able to help make such a huge difference in their lives by assisting in the largest purchase of their lives...their home.
I take my responsibilities seriously and not only do I feel, but I have been told many times, that I provide excellent and friendly service. I cherish every compliment that I receive because it means that I have done my job right.
