The National Association of REALTORS has a strong code of ethics to which Randy ascribes. His motto for his office is “Do the Right Thing”.

REALTOR® of the Year Award is to give recognition to the perseverance of the REALTOR® efforts and work expended in the interest of fellow REALTOR®, their profession, and to our REALTOR® organization; and to turn the spotlight of publicity on the work of REALTOR® in advancing their profession and their communities.

Jenny Robinson, An Avalar Team Player

Jenny Robinson AvalarAfter 10 years as a stay at home mom, Jenny Robinson had the itch to get out and make her contribution to the business world. The opportunity presented itself when her husband, Mitch, accepted a position at Austin Peay State University. After moving her family from Dyersburg and getting settled, she decided that real estate would be perfect for getting to know new people in her new town.

Jenny will be beginning her 8th year as a Realtor in December. Her credentials include the nationally recognized Graduate, Realtor Institute (GRI), Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR), and the GREEN designation. Jenny feels that this extra training separates her from many other agents by giving her additional knowledge. She is proud to be on the forefront of consumer interests by earning the Green Designation from the National Association of REALTORS which is designed for agents looking to learn about issues of energy efficiency and sustainability in the various facets of real estate.

Jenny also has experience in investment properties by personally “flipping” homes. With this background, she can help a client identify properties that are prime for fixing up and reselling.

Avalar Real Estate was Jenny’s choice of realty firms when Randy & Peggy Worcester took over the franchise just over a year ago. She enjoys working in a smaller office where everyone works together as a team, supports one another, and appreciates each other’s success. According to Jenny, Avalar’s strength is online with exposure for her listings on nearly 100 national real estate web sites.

A graduate of MTSU, Jenny now has a daughter and son attending Vol State and UT Chattanooga respectively. She is in the process of purchasing a condo in Chattanooga for her son to live in because of the investment potential. Rather than paying rent for a place to stay, she says her money is paying off the property. Plus extra bedrooms can be rented to other students with the income going towards the mortgage or even paying it in its entirety. And when her son graduates, she can sell the home for the appreciated value or continue renting it for the income. And Jenny adds that her son becomes a built in Property Manager.

The Clarksville Association of Realtors values having Jenny’s input on the Education and Professional Standards Committees.

Jenny feels that everyone should be thankful to Fort Campbell for keeping the community vibrant. She considers Hemlock to be icing on the cake with both entities driving business growth in Clarksville.

Jenny works with both sellers and buyers who instantly recognize the value of her training and experience. “I really enjoy working with military couples. They need someone who can work quickly and watch the details so that nothing falls through the cracks”, said Jenny. She also likes educating first time buyers in the home buying process.

While it has not been a great year for the real estate market across the country, Jenny states that this has been her best year ever. Her Broker attributes her success to her knowledge and experience, but he adds that her clients end up appreciating her openness and honesty more than anything else.

Congratulations to Randy!

Our congratulations to Randy Worcester, Broker/Owner of Avalar Real Estate, upon his election to the 700 member Clarksville Association of Realtors for a three year term. He was Chair of the Education Committee for 2011. He has also been on the Professional Standards Committee, Grievance Committee, Finance Committee, Business & Facilities Committee, Strategic Planning Committee, and the ad hoc Technology and Policy & Procedure Work Groups.

Randy is recognized as one of the top real estate agents in the Middle Tennessee area.
