One of my partner Realtors Arlene Urquizu of Coldwell Banker Facuette Real Estate hired Ready, Set, Stage! for 6 hours of hands on staging on one of her listings prior to listing! I didn't feel that I accomplished as much as I could have with this seller. She told me that I was not allowed to move any of her furniture or art work. So we worked on decluttering and packing. (I packed 15 boxes of books) I did what I could. We are under contract in 14 days!!! This is proof that even if the homeowner doesn't allow for all of our recommendations professional staging can still make a difference!

A little over a year ago I was here on AR asking questions and advice on how to get my name out and grow my business. I was so busy in the month of June that I didn't even have time to think about how many homes I was working on. I stopped last night to make a count. Ready, Set, Stage! worked on 9 homes in Northwest Arkansas last month, and we have two more scheduled for next week! It looks like Home Staging is on a roll in Northwest Arkansas!

It's funny but when I first started I was only getting calls for vacant homes, that has now shifted. Out of the 9 homes only one was a vacant, the remaining have been owner occupied. Three of those homes have been from homeowners being transferred to other states. Being Walmart country and having several Walmart vendors, transfers are very common for our area. Maybe I've found a niche!

Another great example of what can happen with a simple consultation and the homeowners taking my recommendations.

The homeowners only did about 70% of what I recommended. But still at only 70%...I think they did a great job.

I was so excited to learn of a new consignment shop that opened in Fayetteville this week. I visited the store yesterday and met the owner. We quickly agreed that we have a married partnership. I will be able to not only shop her store for great deals but also refer my clients to her that need to sale items. Plus this is a resource for me to sale some inventory that I may want to sale! And I can refer clients that need to purchase items. I see a great relationship building here!
