Too bad President Obama didn`t invite me to the inauguration.I felt left out!
I remember when Sen. Obama first came on the scene. I laughed very hard,never thinking this man would become our 44th President!
When President Obama first started his campaign for Presidency i didn`t believe he was up for the task of leading our nation.
I remember once sitting with a friend and listening to Micheal Moore praise Obama on Larry King`s show.
My friend said she was going to vote for Obama, I was still on the fence.
Moore, started making a lot of sense to me!
Suddenly, i began to listen to what Obama had to say!
Change was needed at a time when our country was in total chaos.
The country I`ve grown to love was on the brink of collapse.
As I listened yesterday to President Obama I heard a man who was entering into the office of Presidency as a humble and caring man!
He is intelligent beyond words!
He praised our nation by speaking of change and what each of us must do! It was historic to say the least.
Watching Bush and Cheney leave the White House and seeing the Obama`s and Biden`s enter was like watching our past awakened by our present.
On one hand Dick Cheney in the wheel chair symbolized what went wrong in these past 8 years and looking at Sasha made me realize how much change is needed.
We`re far from being out of trouble,but today the world once again feels safe and damn good!
Today,like many of you "I`am damn proud of being an American".....

Some days you can`t be nice. People don`t get it! No matter what you do for them, they want more!
We`ve been dealing with a tenant who for whatever reason thinks we`re playing a game with him and his family.
He hasn`t paid his rent in two months and makes a shitload of excuse why he can`t.
Believing his family can live in a home for free seems to be his thing!
He`s lied to me and another agent in our office.
On Sunday, I called him looking for the rent and he literally hung up on me.
Yesterday, I placed a 3 day eviction notice on his door. His wife greets me wondering what`s going on!
The Conversation is as follows:
Me: Sorry to have to do this but,. enough is enough!
Tenant: Why can`t the land lord work with us?
Me: Work with you? You`ve made no attempt in 3 months to pay the rent owed to the landlord! That`s why.
Tenant: Yeah, but my husband isn`t trying!
Me: When you originally moved in we knew it might be a problem getting the money together, you and you`re husband don`t seem to care if the rent is due!
Tenant: So what to you expect us to do now?
Me: Doesn`t matter we just started the "Eviction Process"... You don`t have to do anything now,accept move...
Tenant: Tell the landlord he`s a miserable Piece of Crap!!!
Amazing, how people can`t understand that "Charity starts at home!"""" In the case of this family, it doesn`t appear they`ll ever get it!

I`m not paying a 1% fee for you to handle our "Short Sale" after the fact!
In the new world of completing a "Short Sale" in Broward County,Florida there seem`s to be new rules that are made up as the transaction goes along!
There are new scams abound all after your commissions!pocket!Realtors take notice!
Many 3rd party companies who supposedly handle these transactions without merit seem to believe the "Selling Agent" should pay their fee`s! I know i`m not and don`t plan to.
We executed a contract last week. There was no mention of a 3rd party company handling the transaction, nor was it discussed.
Our attorney handles our closings and deals with Short Sales each and everyday!In Broward County the buyer selects title...These 3rd party companies seem to believe a they can simply change the rules of executed and binding matters....
We received notice from the 3rd party company indicating their fee at closing was 1% which was to come out of our side of the transaction!
Immediateley, our attorney shot off a letter to the 3rd party company stating there wasn`t an addendum,nor did we ever agree to compensate this company out of our commission.The contract clearly states that our Title Company not theirs is the closing agent!
They responded by telling us "They will void the contract"...
Guess what?! They can`t. An executed contract is what it is!
Having a 3rd party company calling the shots isn`t an option for me or anyone else.
If it`s not disclosed on the MLS and agreed upon in advance you don`t have a leg to stand on....
