We just got dumped on. Yes a foot or so, with drifting so that we had snow 4ft deep outside our front door.
Some fun and slight inconvenience, so long as you don't have to go anywhere.
Lots of white stuff!!
What a winter. I've just seen we are 2.5 inches away from an all time record winter snow season in Madison WI. 75 inches. (the record is 77.5). and about double the average annual dusting.
We also had 19 days of at least 1 inch and 6 days of six plus inches.
Excuse me, I must put another log on the fire and snuggle up for the night!!
Listings: We can see there is more inventory in late 2007 than 2005, yet not as much as 2006.
Sales activity: We were down in sales in the last 3 months of last year.
Price: Still increases... This is difficult to understand, it certainly is not my experience!
Days on Market: This is still a very reasonable time frame of 2.5 months!
Despite what the press dumps on us each and every day, our market is really not too bad. I look forward to another record breaking year of helping buyers and sellers make their moves.

Guy's Personal Background
I was born and grew up in England, gained a BSc graduate degree in Horticulture and a Masters in Business. I was a competitive swimmer and water-polo player. I also played those thoroughly English sports, Cricket, Soccer, and Field Hockey. In 1982, while in Madison on a university work exchange program, I met Lucy Jenkins.
After a transatlantic romance we married in 1986. We continued to visit this great city until moving here in 1992. After 8 years as an east-sider, we moved to a pleasant rural Verona neighborhood. We have one child, a boy named Christopher born 11-03-2002, and 2 cats. Over the last few years I have become active in Masters swimming, initially for health reasons, but increasingly to satisfy the competitor in me, I participate in competition.
Guy has created a team of experts who are good in their speciality, trained to get better at just a small aspect of the business. team includes a buyer agent(s), assistant(s), and a telemarketer/phone sales specialist, while Guy is the Marketing and negotiating specialist. He has taken up preforeclosure, short sales and has a 100% record of arranging this type of transaction.
For 15 years I have enjoyed helping clients make great Real Estate decisions, over 500 I believe.
I have had fun and made some awesome friends along the way, but the best times have been discovering this new Company called Keller someone? I was instrumental in bringing it to Madison, indeed Wisconsin. Little did I know that my life would be changed quite so dramatically.
When I visit a national KW event and hear the national trainers- as I do as frequently as possible-, top agents sharing their secrets, even the leaders of the company, I am awed by them. It makes me strive to be better. I am constantly challenged to be a better person, a better leader.
My career is heading up, up, up. I am learning about other ways of wealth building, I am certainly a better Consultant with my Clients, and a far better leader than I ever dreamed possible at my old company.
