According to Baylor University, The Keller Center has reported a study amongst economists as to when house prices will stop falling. The research asked 840 economists for their predictions.

74% of those responding, said by Q4 of 2009. And 96% by 2010.

The same respondents did not see major price increases. possibly 10% in 5 years, or 2% a year.

AThe study also touched on the issue of timing the market, and when it is right to buy a home.

It advises against market timing and the best reason to buy a home is when you are financially ready at the correct life stage.

Internet traffic on homes for sale by real estate guy

Realtor.com traffic helped by featured listings. I recently signed up for featured agent on Realtor.com. after many years of thinking it was too expensive, traffic was not very good, that they had fsbo's on the site. that our own MLS, Wisconsin homes.com was stronger locally. All were either totally false or partially incorrect.

Anyway, I also took afeatured listing spot in the zip code 53704. A few days later I came back for 53718.

This was at the beginning of October. Look at the results. Viewings on my listings jumped almost 10 times from Sept to Oct. November is on target for 40,000 again as this was a figure from mid month.

Have, I seen a sale from this. Possibly. I sold a listing just after having it as a featured home, although the buyer came with another agent.

Another benefit. You can link your virtual tours to Realtor.com for free and automatically, is you are a featured agent. Certainly something I would recommend looking at for next year's budget.

Celebrating becoming a Citizen! and Voting

Proud to be a citizen.

It may surprise some of my friends, that after all these years, I underwent the naturalization process and became an American citizen.

Last Thursday, the 30th, I completed the process by being sworn in in Milwaukee. Something about that date? I squeezed in just before the election, and with same day registration, I was able to vote.

Proud to vote for change. And even more so that the country made the change in direction.

I know this election, as any has been very polarizing. I have many friends who are dismayed thinking the country will fall apart. (funnily enough the same who don't think it has already.)

However, I am extremely confident, as a business man that we will be in steady hands. Mr Obama is an incredibly intelligent, visionary leader who will work for the betterment of all Americans.
