Planting Trees Requires Planning - For All Home Owner's

Do you live in Comal County and are you a member of Pedernales Electric Cooperative? Planting Trees Requires Planning (Your Landscape)

Overgrown trees can be a risk. Please remember when you select and plant a tree, it's important to understand how large the tree will be when it is mature.

Example: Note distance from the telephone pole.

Allow adequate distance from electric power lines and infrastructure. Avoid hazards by planting trees with overhead power lines in mind and consider a safe distance.

Upside-down ~ in a Topsy-Turvy World

A few weeks ago I did a blog about a Topsy-Turvy Jalapeno Pepper Planter. Here's an update.
So far, so good. If all goes well the next update we will begin to see some blooms. One great thing, if this Topsy -Turvy Jalapeno Pepper Planter works we won't have to worry about the Texas Hill Country white tail deer eating the plants...not unless they can jump to reach the planter that is hanging from the second story baloney.

Life is "good" and Life is "fun" living in The Texas Hill Country.
We are anxious for spring.

Topsy-Turvy...Living in The Texas Hill Country

TOPSY-TURVY - No I haven't been drinking....I'm talking a TOPSY-TURVY HOT PEPPER PLANTER.

Being that things are beginning to bloom here at Canyon Lake and in The Texas Hill Country, we thought we would give this TOPSY-TURVY HOT PEPPER PLANTER A TRY.
Blog Post February 16, 2012
Ceil stopped by the garden center this afternoon and purchased a few starter plants and had this "thingy" in her shopping bag. Now it says it is only 3-Easy Steps.
1. Remove from box (Duh)
2. Put in soil and plants (jalapeno pepper plants)
3. Hang and water daily
Suppose to use gravity as a vertical growing advantage. It is upside-down, Topsy-Turvey and plants are suppose to grow and at some time we can pick jalapeno peppers.
If you drive by and see this TOPSY-TURVEY planter hanging from the front porch you'll know your in the right place.
Living in The Texas Hill Country is exactly that, country living, even growing plants up-side down.
