Wow, was I excited to see the turn out we had for help with our local Founders Day Parade! As you can see my the pictures below, a lot of time, effort and details (not to mention feathers and makeup) were put into this event. How sad is this? Out of the entire United States, Chicago has 4 High Schools that placed in the worst performing amongst High Schools!
Robeson HS placed 6 worst in the country
Harper HS placed 18 worst in the country
Englewood Tech HS places 21 worst in the country
Fenger Academy placed 24 worst int he country
Step up parents and do something about this! Hold CPS accountable and make something happen!

It is well known that the quality of education provided by public schools varies greatly across the country. Lunch with a Cop
Friday, April 17th and 24th the Lake in the Hills Police Department is hosting their Lunch with a Cop program. It will be held both days from 11:00am to 1:00pm at the Lake in the Hills Police Department's Safety Educational Center, located at 1109 Crystal Lake Road. It will include a pizza lunch, puppet show and safety tips. Pizza and pop will be served to the children (and parents) by members of the Lake in the Hills Police Department, the puppet show with follow lunch. This program is free and is a great opportunity for young children to realize that the police are their friends and someone that they should come to for help.
