2nd try at that fall picture down my street

Here is that great fall picture that has come and gone from my neighborhood. Seasons is one of the things I love about this part of the country. Things are continually changing just like the real estate market. People ask me when should I buy or should I just sit it out until the spring? My response to that is an old saying " a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush". Meaning we know that housing prices are lower, the supply is up, and the interest rates are down. If you have the resources to buy your piece of the American dream then now is the time to do it, because we don't know what tomorrow will bring.

Now is a great time to buy

Living in southern Wisconsin we have been somewhat insulated form the drastic housing and credit difficulties, yet not isolated from them. Over the past several weeks we have seen the long term interest rate settle down to around 6%. The home values have corrected and have made this a blue light special time for those that have been on the the sidelines waiting for the right time to buy. We always have 20/20 vision in hindsight, so don't miss out on a great opportunity to get your piece of the American Dream with home ownership.
