I admit it, I've been scared. Scared to re-start my staging and redesign business in Florida. It's been over a year since I moved to beautiful Lakewood Ranch, and I've been watching for some signs. Signs of some positive movement in the real estate market.
So, now I will begin to venture out on Saturday's and Sunday's looking for a Realtor or Realtors that have the same goal that I do. Helping people sell their homes in the least time and for the most money. When I find these companions we will travel the road to success together, some will gain heart, some a new way of thinking some will feel the emotions of a job well done. All of us will contribute to the lives of people like us, those looking for their Florida home. Because we all know-there's no place like home!
ReDesign & Go- "You don't need new stuff, just your stuff!" Let Pat show you how she can save you time and money with redesign and make you more money, more quickly with real estate staging!
By moving every few years Pat learned the art of redesign and staging with her own furniture and accessories. “Of course, I didn’t know what I was doing had a name, but when I first heard the words ‘redesign and staging,’ I knew that was what I’d been doing all these years.”
Like most people, Pat couldn’t afford new furniture and accessories to furnish her homes with each move. She learned by trial and error how to use what she already owned in different and sometimes unexpected ways to make each house her home. “I like to use furnishings and accessories in unexpected ways to give my home a unique and personal touch.”
With each relocation Pat became more knowledgeable about what buyers look for in a house and how furniture and accessories impact their perception of the home. She learned first-hand how important it is to prepare your home before the “For Sale” sign goes in the yard. “The housing market is extremely competitive, as a seller you need to ensure you do everything possible to get the best price in the shortest time for your home.”
“I was the manager of corporate training for a marketing communications firm for eight years in Albany, NY. When we relocated to South Carolina in 2005 I realized the time was right to start my own business.” It didn’t take Pat long to realize her passion was interior redesign and staging. “Doing redesign and staging gives me the opportunity to help people who are in the same situations I’ve often been in. You have ‘stuff’ and you just don’t know what to do with it, or, you’re selling your house and you don’t know what to do to make it sell faster and at the best price.”
In March of 2008 Pat and her husband moved to Lakewood Ranch Florida. “I look forward to continuing my business in Florida. I really enjoy what I do and I know that all my clients will too!”
Consultative Staging- I will spend approximately 2 hours at your home. First, I will walk around the outside of the home evaluating its curb appeal. Then I will go through your home room by room. You may go with me and we will take notes and discuss specific areas where staging or corrective action should be taken. Or, I can go through your yard and home noting areas where staging or corrective action should be taken and then review them with you upon completion of my walk through. I will also provide you with my ReDesign & Go Ready-Set-Sell and ReDesign & Go Market Advantage Staging tip sheets.
Staging Redesign- After a consultative staging we will decide which room or rooms will most benefit from a staging redesign. We will discuss items that may need to be relocated or placed in storage prior to your move. I will then “shop” the remainder of your home for items that will work with the staging redesign look. Next the furnishings, artwork and accessories will be removed from the room. Keeping in mind that we are staging to sell your home, the furniture is returned and placed to complement the space. The room will be completed with your accessories, artwork and any “shopped” items.

Open House Staging Preparation -Sunday can be the busiest day of the week for many people. That’s why I’m offering an open house staging preparation service to my ReDesign & Go consultative staging and staging redesign clients. By having an open house you will attract the widest range and greatest number of potential buyers. Make sure you take advantage of this marketing opportunity!
The day before your open house I will schedule a brief walk through of your home and we will discuss any areas that need additional attention. Next we will determine how much time is needed for the open house staging preparation. We will discuss what accessories, fresh flowers, etc. should be used to enhance your home and create a memorable impression of it for your open house.
The day of your open house I will arrive ready to make a last minute walk through your home and set up the additional accessories as discussed. I will be on hand when your realtor arrives and I will work with them if they feel any changes need to be made.
