Hiking is one of the activities that I always enjoy. It's good exercise, it does not hurt the pocket book and there are plenty of good sightseeing along the way if you pay attention to the details.
As a former actuary, I know I have a great eye for detail (too many of analysis and number crunching if you ask me).
On my latest hiking trip on the Red Lodge Creek hiking trail in Luther (15 miles northwest of Red Lodge), I decided to bring my camera and share some of the beautiful things I encountered along the way.

The town of Red lodge was transformed and played host to the Beartooth Rally and Iron Horse Rodeo. There were bikes from many States and Provinces which were on display on main street. I decided to share close-ups of some of the bikes I took during the weekend of the Beartooth Rally and Iron Horse Rodeo. This is what I named "Art on Wheels".

The town is full of tourists and bikes as Red Lodge welcomes the 15th annual Beartooth Rally and Iron Horse Rodeo.

That is how I named the outdoor volleyball camp for which I volunteered to teach volleyball to the members of the Boys and Girls of Carbon County. Today is the last of 8 lessons (spread over the last 4 weeks) where I will show kids with ages ranging from 7 to 12 years old how to play volleyball.
I am a firm believer of giving back to the community and I love working with kids. So, when they asked me last year to join as a volunteer and help out with the tennis camps, I did not hesitate. I have been a volunteer for the Boys and Girls Club over a year now and I am grateful to be able to teach them how to play my favorite team sport and one that I enjoyed playing since I was a kid.

The following photos were both taken on July 15 in Red Lodge, Montana. It is always a nice end to the day to be able to take the time and enjoy the changing of the colors of the sky at sunset. On this evening, I noticed the clouds take on a reddish accent right at sunset and was able to capture the moment with my digital camera.

Growing up in Montreal, Gerry is a big fan of the Montreal Canadiens hockey team.
Along with being a Realtor, Gerry also has 14 years of experience as an Actuarial Analyst in Toronto, Atlanta and Southern California. Gerry has always displayed high ethics as an Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) and will continue that in his career with Prudential Red Lodge. He also worked as a substitute teacher with a focus on high school Mathematics. Gerry is multilingual (speaking 4 languages: English, French, Spanish and Armenian) and studied in two universities (in English at Concordia University and in French at Université du Québec à Montréal). He envisions putting his language skills to good use in developing the international market and bringing the world to discover Montana. He holds the TRC (Transnational Referral Certification) designation.
Gerry's interests include teaching, traveling, playing volleyball, skiing, hiking, mineral collecting as well as grooming and pampering his three Australian Shepherds: Kylie, Sir Barkley and Jester. It was his love of nature, animals, the small town hospitality, and the beauty of the Montana landscapes and of nearby Yellowstone National Park that inspired Gerry to call Red Lodge his new home.
Gerry looks forward to apply his attention to detail, language skills, well-traveled openness to the world and multicultural experience. His motto is "always professionally deliver the best experience and service to your clients". Gerry is eager to be able to devote some of his spare time to supporting the community through his volunteerism with the Boys and Girls Club and Habitat for Humanity.
