There are multiple benefits with resurfacing. Not only does it keep waste out of the landfill, but its low cost and quick turnaround time can make a complete kitchen or bathroom trasformation a reality. Resurfacing a countertop alone can save up to 300% compared to ripping out and installing new. Replacing a counter top could cost upwards of $1,500.00 conservatively, but in as little as four (4) hours and around $349.00, we can professionally resurface your kitchen countertop. Taking that old outdated laminate countertop and turning into one that looks like modern Corian or even Granite!
This is not a "painted" countertop finish. Our highly skilled technicians bond an acrylic polyurethane to the existing surface. We take precautionary steps to protect all areas that will not be resurfaced. We then prepare the countertop surface and apply an epoxy-type adhesive and the multi-colored material the client has hand selected. This gives the rich look of a granite or corian surface. Last we apply several layers of a catalyzed polymer to leave an incredibly hard surface, capable of withstanding heat of up to 600 degrees!
