This is Hartsdale, New York

Hartsdale, New York is a Hamlet in the Town of Greenburgh, New York. It doesn't have its' own website so don't go searching for it. Everything about Hartsdale can be found on the Town of Greenburgh website. The Town of Greenburgh is large. There are six incorporated Village, several Hamlets, uincorporated areas. Greenburgh is located is mid-Westchester County. The six Villages are:

  • Ardsley
  • Hastings-on-Hudson
  • Dobbs Ferry
  • Elmsford
  • Irvington
  • Tarrytown

Each of these Village has their own school district. The Hamlet of Hartsdale and the unincorporated areas all attend the Greenburgh School District.

The commute from the "village" of Hartsdale is 34 minutes by train, using Metro-North. Housing within the Town of Greenburgh is diverse as are the communities. You have co-op's throughout the Town, you have single family homes, condo's.

Shopping is also very vast and there is something for everyone. ALong Central Avenue which runs from Yonkers north to White Plains offer numerous strip malls with larger chains as well as small speciality food shops. Hartsdale is one a few minutes into White Plains which has a Wal-Mart, Target, a cineplax, Legal Sea Foods and is up and coming.
