Brin Realty Group expands to Bedford NH
The growth at Brin Realty Group continues…
The Amherst real estate office is bursting with 15 agents and support staff and is finding 2009 to be a strong year in sales….
Rene Brin, Broker/Owner of Brin Realty said, “While 2009 has been a difficult year in NH real estate, our office continues to grow and gain marketshare. Our NH agents are highly experienced and focused; they know how to get the job done in this challenging market.”
“I have planned on opening a Bedford real estate office for a while, waiting until I found the perfect location. I recently found space that was exactly what I was looking for. We will be sharing the space at the newly rebuilt property at the corner of Hardy Road and Route 101. This will give us a highly visible storefront on the busy Route 101 corridor in Bedford. We will share the space with Beal’s Insurance who will occupy the main floor of the cape style property and our office will be in the newly rebuilt barn, with open beams and cathedral ceilings.”
We feel we can better serve our clients in both towns and surrounding areas with the dual office plan.
We want to enhance agent participation to cross the town lines in terms of buyer activity, broker open houses, etc. This will also give us a larger pool of inventory for our International and domestic buyers that come to our websites 24/7.
We will continue to grow the business with the same principles and determination that have been so successful in our Amherst real estate office. We will bring in a few more experienced agents that embrace the hard work ethic of the group. Agents from both offices will have the opportunity to use either office to conduct business and meet clients.
We are looking forward to a grand opening by January 2010.
I offer a big thanks to all of the agents that have contributed to the highly successful Brin Realty Group office. We are all committed to expanding to this additional location to better serve our clients and to continue to demonstrate the Brin Realty Group difference!

This is the first post ever from frustration...Washington needs a wakeup call. They need to stop spending like the bank account has a never ending supply. This is crippling us now and in the future. While we applaud the $8000 first time buyer tax credit, seems to me a $15,000 credit that was proposed for anyone who purchased in calendar year 2009 and an interest rate in the 4's would have brought buyers off the fence. Imagine how this would have trickled down...people buy real estate, sellers and realtors spend money, admin and assistants come back to work, lenders, attorneys, home inspectors, tradesmen all come back to work. We all start going out to dinner again...maybe even buy a new blouse! Yata Yata...
I don't claim to be an expert on Washington or economic policy; but real estate got us into this mess and real estate will bring us out!
Is anyone in Washington listening? NH real estate needs your help.
Caution in NH Real Estate Auctions
Buyers today need to exercise caution when purchasing a piece of NH real estate at auction.
There are so many risks and pitfalls that some buyers just don't see. Not too long ago my son
was looking at a property that would be purchased at auction. After understanding the risks associated
he decided against putting in an offer at auction. Some of the things buyers need to question are
1. In many cases properties are sold as is without the ability to inspect,
2. Buyers need to get legal advice to be sure they are protected against liens against the proeprty;
3. Will the buyer have trouble getting the previous owners to vacate the property?
4. What rights do the previous owners have in terms of reclaiming the property.
5. How do I know the price is right in this declining market...Am I in fact getting a good deal that is worth the risk?
We just need buyers to understand the risks associated with auction buying.
Today there are many safer opportunitites to purchase property at auction prices without the auction risk.
