Newburyport, Massachusetts Real Estate

Many of the houses in the area date from 19th century, while the original downtown, recently restored to its colonial-era splendor, has been named a National Historic Landmark. Once a major port on the Atlantic Ocean, Newburyport was the birthplace of the United States Coast Guard.
The first community in the state of Massachusetts to complete a master plan, Newburyport now boasts a strong tourist industry.
