"At Last" WASHINGTON (Jan. 20) -

may have been just what President Barack Obama and his wife Michelle were thinking Tuesday night as they glided through a their first inaugural dance to the Etta James classic. The president pulled his wife close and they danced a slow, dignified two-step while Beyonce sang off stage.

The president spun first lady Michelle Obama once in a half-turn. He then cut loose in a faster groove a few minutes later, as Shakira, Mary J. Blige, Faith Hill and Mariah Carey sang along with Stevie Wonder to his

"Sign, Sealed, Delivered."

The song was played at nearly every one of Obama's rallies throughout the campaign.

The president wore white tie, while Michelle shimmered in a white, one-shouldered, floor-length gown. It was embellished from top to bottom with white floral details and made by 26-year-old New York designer Jason Wu. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/andrea-chalupa/love-me-some-jason-wu_b_159561.html

What a wonderful day of history this was for all of us!!

Then, yesterday afternoon I tuned into Hay House Radio (Louise Hay--one of my favorites) and Caroline Myss (a fantastic author + speaker) was doing a LIVE call-in show on the symbolism of the day and how fate and destiny were lining up.

I love symbolism, use alot of it in my keynote speeches at Conferences and Conventions, so I thought, "what the heck...I am going to see if I can get through to Caroline". I got through (law of attraction)-- and I was her last caller if you would like to listen into a rebroadcast of her yesterday show this morning.

I will incorporate a few of the LIFE LESSONS that she gave to me on the call into the tomorrow's post.

President Elect Barack Obama will be sworn in as the 44th President of the United States on January 20, 2009. The following is the inauguration events happening in Washington DC

Tuesday, January 20, 2009

Swearing-In Ceremony
Gates open: 8 a.m.
Obama Swear-In: Approximately Noon EST
Location: US Capitol, West Front

No tickets are required to view the Inaugural Ceremony on the National Mall west of 4th Street. Obama is expected to be sworn-in at noon.

Inaugural Luncheon
Location: United States Capitol

This event is not open to the public. Please contact the Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies at (202) 244-2228 for more information.


2009 Inaugural Parade
Gates open: 7:00 a.m.
Event begins: approximately 2:30 p.m.
Location: Pennsylvania Avenue, NW

The majority of the parade route will be free and open to the public for standing room access. Viewing spots on the parade route are available on a first come, first serve basis.

Location: National Building Museum

It is impossible to FEEL really really GOOD and Do BAD

Now whatever ACTION that your take on a repeated basis becomes a HABIT

HABITS then move your CONSEQUENCE into a CONDITION

You might think this is a permanent CONDITION, but most of the time it is not permanent, IF

You will PAY ATTENTION to your INTENTIONS

Time to go full circle, because, by paying attention to your intentions you change gears, your EGS changes and your actions change as well.

God lives in you;

He guides all of your actions;

He leads you where He would have you go;

He works in you to will and to do whatsoever HE would have you do...

if you are willing to LISTEN and OBEY the still small voice within.

• DENY the negatives, CAST them out, and don't give it attention!
• AFFIRM the positive, CALL them in, and give it plenty of attention everyday, every minute.
• Now when you do this, your mind/body may go through a process of chemicalization or detoxification or what I like to call a purification process.
• You may feel a little out of whack until the affirmations drive out the negative varmits.
• Express your individuality, be watchful of your personality.
  

Personality applies to the mortal part of you--the mortal mind, the person, the external which is governed by the intellect. Your personality may be agreeable/disagreeable to others. It is the outer, changeable man, which in contrast is not the same as the inner or REAL man, which is your individuality.

Individuality is the term used to define the inner real part of you. The more God comes into visibility through a person the more individualized he becomes.

God is wisdom, intelligence, love and power.

The more pronounced the manner in which any one of these qualities-or all of them-comes forth into visibility through a man, the greater his individuality.

EMERSON was a man of large individuality, but small personality. He was very simple but the God within him shined forth in greater degree than most as you may note through his writings.

One's individuality is the part of one that never changes in identity. It is that which distinguishes one person from another.

One's personality may be similar to another which individuality never changes.

* Don't confuse the terms.

We cultivate individuality by listening to and obeying the small still voice within.

This action may, and probably will make us very different from others because we may not be following the random opinions of the crowd doing what is popular in the moment.

The random opinions of the crowd is almost always governed by selfish motives, instead of the highest values within . . . your True North.

* SEEK always to cultivate, or to bring into visibility, INDIVIDUALITY, but never personality.

* Always know, as ONE increases the other decreases in proportion to the other.

* * Listen to the small voice within. * * This is your special GIFT in the present. * *

WHATEVER you are giving your attention to is already vibrating.

And when you give your attention to IT, if you maintain your focus for as little as 17 seconds, you begin to include its vibration, whatever it is, wherever you are experiencing it, into your own vibration. For example, I live in Salt Lake City where the dominate religion is Mormonism. Mormons understand that WHATEVER you are giving your attention to is already vibrating.

A few way I experience this is: R-rated movies are not very popular here, you do not hear foul-mouthed cussing like you do on TV or even the casual cussing which has become socially acceptable in so many circles, and UTAH was one of the first NO-Smoking states in the union.

• When you see something you do want (in your mind or in reality), and you give it your attention, and you say YES to it, you are including whatever its vibration is in your vibration.
• When you see something you do not want, you say NO at it, and you are including whatever its vibration is in your vibration.
• In this vibrational world, which is everything, you are far more vibrational beings than you are verbal beings.
• You are communicating with everyone far more on a vibrational basis, than you are on a verbal basis.
• Notice today the vibration in your words and in others.

Lynn Grabhorn suggest that you must learn how to FLIP the SWITCH in yourself from a very LOW dense negative vibration to a delicious HIGH light feeling vibration.

Abraham-Hicks says you need to TAP IN, TUNE IN to TURN ON.

• Learning to TAP IN, TUNE IN to TURN ON is no different than sorting radio stations in your car. Whether you push the SEARCH button, or you do it manually, it takes only seconds to find something that FEELS good to you in that moment.
• DITTO--push the SEARCH button within yourself to TUNE IN so you can TURN ON, and then focus on that HAPPY SHOW in your mind, in your heart....just like you TUNE IN to your favorite music or talk radio.
• Actively choose to SEARCH and SORT to find something to make yourself HAPPY today (remember how Steve Martin used to have Happy Feet on Saturday Night Live--that is what I plan to think about today to make myself chuckle...I dare you to stand up, do a little of Steve Martin's Happy Feet and just notice if you are smiling)
• By consciously or unconsciously going away from unhappy or unsatified to happy and satisfied, you have just Flipped your Switch.

GOoD on you.

(some people go for the BIGGGGGG "O", and if you have been reading my blog, you know that I like going for the little O--do you remember WHY?) GOoD on you.

Your assignment today is to practice Flipping your Switch, and then jot me a note to tell me how you did with this assignment. What changed? for you? did you notice people interacting with you differently? This will be a FUN day for all of us.
