Part of the Unified Fire Authority, the Taylorsville Fire Station is located at 5327 South 2700 West, just west of Taylorsville City Hall. The addition of this fire station increased the abliity to respond to fires in the Taylorville area immensley.
Taylorsville city hall was opened in April 30, 2003. There was certainly much opposition as to what kind of building woould be built and what purposes it would serve. Mayor Janice Auger worked tirelessly to get it built. The following departments are housed at least in part here:

Situated in Gardner Historic Village, West Jordan, Utah are many country stores, art stores, galleries, Sweet Afton's Candies, (try the fudge) clothing shops, toy stores, and right out front in the old mill is Archibald's Restaraunt. Archibald's has something for most everyone. My favorite is the "Early Bird Special" For early seating you can order either Prime Rib or Monterey Chicken. Included with the special is warm fresh bread, soup or salad, a soft drink, your choice of potatoes, (baked, french fried, or even mashed with gravy) or rice. and a generous slice of carrot cake for dessert. They serve many different sandwiches, steak, halibut, fish & chips, many different chiken chicken dishes. Check out their menu by clicking here.
I recommend a visit to Gardner Village, I'm not real big on shopping but I really enjoy shopping through the shops in this village. They have many seasonal traditions, such as witches a festival and the decorations are always first class. Come during any holiday and see all of the great decorations.
Harvard Yale is a great neighborhood in Salt Lake City, Utah. Beautiful tree lined streets, most of the trees are huge. There are beautiful homes throughout the ares. Several streams and canyons run through the area and add to the diversity and pleasures of the area. Many homes back the canyons created by Red Butte creek, and Emigration creek. Many of the roads wind their way through the neighborhoods and the area's between 1100 East and 1500 East have rather steep inclines. I remember as a child the men on the street closed off the street I lived on to allow us kids the opportunity to sled most of the day right down the street. Most of the homes in the area were built in the early 1900's and most have undergone extensive restorations, remodelings, and expansions.
There are many church buildings in the neighborhoods one of great interest is the Garden Park Ward of the LDS Church. There are two waterfalls and a pond which once was a stream fed swimming pool.
