Health Care Cost Increase in Double Digits

What advice can be offered when a national insurance broker like Aon is predicting 10 percent across the board increases in health insurance premiums?

The advice is NOT sit-back, auto-renew and wait for a Public Option. Because there is a very honest chance the Public Option never materializes.

Disability Insurance: Not Sexy - Very Important

Paul Sullivan of the New York Times in April of 2009 wrote an article in the
Wealth Matters section titled "Never Mind your 401(k). How's Your Insurance?"
Mr. Sullivan starts his article with a very simple yet powerful sentence,
"Insurance is the least sexy asset in most portfolios." Why is this simple,
straight-forward sentence so powerful? Because it is true and drives the
sub-concious perception of insurance in almost every American's mind.

Micro-Businesses Exempt of HealthCare Reform

ActiveRain Vs. Outside Blog

I blog in two different communities, The AR Community and The Internet Community. I love the traffic generated by AR. The feedback and camaraderie from fellow members is great.

But I felt I was missing something. I really wanted to spice up my writing space and be able to speak to an audience outside of AR. So I bought www.ryanhanley.com and began my own independent hosted site.

For those of you that write in both worlds what advice can you give someone who is just starting out? AR makes everything so easy I think I'm kind of spoiled.

I can't wait to get some feedback...

Thank you,

Ryan
