OK... Here we go! Another application turned down! Oh well! We tried very hard to get YOU, Mr. & Mrs. TENANT, accepted by giving you the benefit of the doubt..... WE SCREENED EXTENSIVELY, SEEKING CREDIBLE EVIDENCE, based upon what you fed us!

You KNEW they were LIES in the beginning!!! Do you think we are that vulnerable??? Listen, we are NOT boasting, but we have heard just about it all.... Didn't you not know we wrote the book ..."578 Excuses Tenants Use!" We revert to this book exclusively to avert EVICTIONS! We will properly screen each person desirous to move into one of our accommodations.... it's part of our procedures in MANAGEMENT!

Your LIES are NOT fool proof and will be added to our book! Thank you for the contributions... and NO! we will NOT be dishing out Royalties for your new entry!! Please check this LIE list before you call....

Current OVERUSED Circulation of LIES:

  • Owner is in foreclosure and we have to move immediately!! - LIE! We checked the records!
  • I pay my rent on time every month... here are the receipts! - LIE! YOU made them yourself!
  • I NEVER had an an eviction! - LIE! - It's too new to show on your report.. but WE have ways!
  • It's just for me & 2 kids! - LIE! - What about the 8 we saw on our unannounced visit?
  • We have GOOD credit! - LIE! - Why is your credit score just 389?
  • I am a victim of fraud! - LIE! - YOU are WEARING the stuff the collectors are going after!
  • Here is my landlord's phone number! - LIE! We NEVER call numbers YOU give us of your friends!
  • We had a fire! - LIE! That old burnt out excuse!! (Fire Departments keep records you know!)
  • My Landlord is a Slumlord! - LIE! YOU tore the place up YOURSELF!!
  • My place was broken into! - TRUE! But the company YOU keep will burglarize ours too!

... And the list continues...

Please Mr. & Mrs. Applicant.... do us all a favor and get your lies straightened out BEFORE you apply for a rental! If ALL you have are credit issues, you do not have to LIE about it, be honest, for we have SOLUTIONS that just may just place you into one of our units! Thank you!

WHY Does Your Picture Have Those Marks On It?

My driver's license expired in March. I was required to renew in person to undergo vision screening, and get an updated photograph.

My mind was pre-programmed to expect a criminal-looking photograph that would be my official identification for the next four to eight years! -------------------------->

Those who are acquainted with me, are accustomed to my routine of walking into a crowd, charging the atmosphere, revving up the audience until laughter flows, and no difference was made with my visit to the Secretary of State facility in Illinois.

After handing over my old license, paying the renewal fee, and successfully passing the administered eye examination, time finally came to have my picture taken!

When my name was called, i placed the biggest grin on my face, made eyeball to eyeball contact with the photographer, and said (in hearing distance of everyone waiting) ...."please take an extra ten pounds off my weight and 10 years off my picture!!" Evoking a smile, he instructed me where i needed to be seated.

While waiting for the processing, my next question was... "May i have a re-take IF it comes out not to my liking?" At that point, the photographer had adjusted his composure and listening ear to "ALERT" and was prepared to answer my questions creatively.... but there was no need, for the picture came out G R E A T!

I was so pleased with it that i placed it here on Active Rain, on my Website, Twitter, Facebook, and other places on the web! Of course, now there is no dread when asked to produce identification! The visible background "markings" seen on the license are theft-preventative insertions of the Illinois logo. I do not mind displaying it ..... markings and all!

The State of Illinois has several designs for licenses and IDs with varying features that distinguishes categories. Here is a link with the details -----> LINK

If YOU are a driver residing in Illinois, and are up for renewal of your license, you can now look forward to getting a better looking picture than you had before.... that is..... UNLESS you look much worse!!
