Convent Glen homes for sale

Is the market hot in Convent Glen?

I'll let you be the judge. I just wanted to pint out that the homes that hit the mls system lately are sold very quickly. In the past six (6) days there has been 3 new listings in the Convent Glen area. In the past 6 days, 2 of those 3 homes have offers on them. This is the time where buyers are out there looking to buy a home. 2 out of 3 are already conditionally sold.

Should you wait to list your home? Is Spring going to be a better time to sell? Will you get more money for your home now or in the Spring?

In my opinion if you are thinking of selling your home, this might be the better time.

If you are thinking of selling your home give me a call or send me an e-mail ( jeanricher@jeanricher.com ) and I can offer you a free market analysis of your home with no obligation and no pressure, I promise.

Looking forward to hearing form you.

Selling in Orleans

This young family is looking for their new home and yours could fit their needs. Because of this busy fall real estate market in Ottawa there isn't much selection out there. The other issue is that they have already lost out on 3 multiple offers in the past few weeks.

Can you help my clients? If you can, feel free to give me a call or send me an e-mail ( jean@jeanricher.com ) and we'll see what we can do. I can provide you with a free market analysis of your home at no cost, no obligation and no pressure.

As we all know the Real Estate market is still hot and very active. As you can see in the article by the Ottawa Citizen, the housing market in Canada is still very active. Looking at these numbers is very impressive.

Resale home activity was up 41.5 per cent in the month, reaching a total of 42,288 units. On a seasonally adjusted basis, homes sold on the Multiple Listing Service totalled 45,818 units in October. (source: Ottawa Citizen).

Because of these stats the Canadian Real Estate Association in looking to boost its outlook for 2009 and 2010. Its a great sign that the market is still active.

Even the stats from the Ottawa REal Estae Board shows that it's still a seller's market out there. We still have some clients that are pre-approved, ready to buy but can't find a suitable home. Multiple offers are still present in this market.

Hot New listing in Orleans coming soon

I just went to do an estimate on a nice home in Orleans. It is a 4 bedroom home, with newer roof and furnace. Located on a quiet street and ready to move in quickly.

It has beautiful hardwod in the living and dining room, main floor laundry room, bright kitchen and family room. The master bedroom is very large and has it's own walk in closet & ensuite bathroom. The other 3 bedrooms can easily accomodate 3 other kids or an office space. There is also a nice backyard ready for you to enjoy the warm summer days (in a few months from now ;-) ) with a large deck and fully fenced.

The basement is fully finished with two additional bedrooms, a rec room and another full bathroom plus lots of storage space.

Stay tuned for more information coming in the next few days.
