Frederick County residents who have household hazardous waste items and want to dispose of them in a safe manner can participate in the fall collection coming up in October.There is no charge to participate in this event. The only requirements is that you must be a resident of Frederick County and all items must be generated by a residence.

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

Help support Heartly House of Frederick by attending Party in Purple on Tuesday October 14th 2008 from 6:00pm to 8:30 pm at Everedy Square and Shab Row. This is a progressive party held at participating businesses. Attendees will get to enjoy scrumptious appetizers, signature beverages and a gift bag.
