A while ago like maybe a couple of weeks ago I had planned on going fishing on Big Sandy Lake, with a friend on Friday. I had a scheduled appointment for that next day on Saturday with a new client who was referred to me by a friend at the local print shop. The client wanted to reschedule for my fishing day. Well as you know I did go out and show property that day and gave up my fishing day to spend with a now new client who wants to move forward on a great lake shore lot on Big Sandy Lake. I really am glad I made the right decision to show these people this lake lot that morning.
You see they remind me of my self with my wife and 2 younger children back many years ago when we purchased our first lake lot out in Cold spring Minnesota, The memories we made and still cherish to this day. I am just as excited I think as they are about this whole thing because I know they will make a great addition to our fine lake community.
I wanted to let buyers and sellers alike know that our real estate market is picking up in the McGregor lakes area, Big Sandy Lake has only a few lake lots available so if you are in the market for one this might be the year to really consider buying one or selling one.

While some places throughout the states have warmed up quite a bit McGregor Minnesota is still a little chilly temperature wise bit as for our Real Estate market things are really starting to ramp up for our Spring market and I must say that I am very excited about what I am seeing so far.
New listings are coming on the market daily from lake lots to new homes on the market, Now we all want to know are the prices coming down from were they have been in the recent years? Yes Yes Yes - So if you are a buyer coming into this market the time is getting better to buy Real Estate!
Sellers - Be very very Wise and listen to your agent(s) If you are looking to sell a place in McGregor or the McGregor Lakes area you better make sure you have been coached correctly. I my self am going to go on a limb here. If you want to sell and you have your place over priced in todays market You will sit there all year and get frustrated at your agent/Broker. If you come to me and say I want 500k for your home and it is only worth 410K guess what I'm not going to list it. Some professionals may say get the listing and reduce it in 60 days! Sorry Charlie....... Mr. Rick isn't going to do that. I want to market property that is going to sell not sit for a year. I would rather say I'm sorry we can not do business today than to look them in the eye and say we need to re-list after a year and be market warn!
