Dale City - An Unincorporated Community in Prince William County, Virginia

Dale City is a large community in Woodbdridge, in Prince William County. Named after the "hills and dales" of the rolling landscape, Dale City is known today for having one of the largest outlet malls, Potomac Mills, in the region.

Dale City is bounded on the north by Hoadly Road, the east by Interstate 95, the south by Cardinal Drive, and the west by Spriggs Road.

Cherrydale - A Neighborhood in Arlington, Virginia

Cherrydale is an old neighborhood in North Arlington, the heart of which is the intersection of Lee Highway (Route 29), and North Military Road. Detached, colonial-style homes line narrow, hilly streets.

Lee Heights is a small neighborhood within Cherrydale, on the north side of Lee Highway.

Notable landmarks include Cherrydale Hardware and Cherrydale Volunteer Fire House.

Routes 29 and 66 lead northeast to Washington, DC, and west to Fairfax County.

It is not certain how it got its name, but Park Hope Part encompasses an area in Fairfax County around the very large intersection of Braddock Road and the Fairfax Parkway, about half way between Centreville and Fairfax City. George Mason University is a short distance to the east.

The area has seen a large number of bank foreclosures and short sales. This is in part due to the external obsolescence caused by the noise from the two highways.

Virginia Square, a high-rise condominium in North Arlington, takes its name from the area that sits just between Ballston and Clarendon: "Virginia Square." Built by The Dittmar Group in 1999, it offers three elevators, an exercise room, an exterior pool, a fiesta/meeting room, extra storage, and underground parking.

The Virginia Square market area encompasses many shops and restaurants, the Virginia Square Metro, convenience to Routes 66 and 50, the Arlington Library, and George Mason's Law and Graduate School campuses.

Weltman Estates - A Neighborhood in Centreville, Virginia

On the western edge of Centreville, Weltman Estates is a large cluster of large, detached homes built in the late 80s. Route 29 leads out of Weltman Estates east to Washington, DC, and Pleasant Valley Road leads north to Chantilly.

Nearby Cub Run Stream Valley Park offers hiking and bike trails.

Centreville is part of Fairfax County, Virginia.
