A helpful system that can enhance your business and more!

As we all know, staying in touch with clients is an important step for establishing a lasting relationship and keeping ourselves and what we do visible to them at all times.

I found a valuable system and would like to share it with you. I know it will be as beneficial to you and your business. It is an incredible tool, not only can you remember people and share appreciation; you can motivate, uplift, encourage and truly make a difference, plus it is very easy to use.

Printed Greeting Cards on Demand

With a simple click of your computer's mouse - you can select a card, write a message and send a printed greeting card. You can customize a card by using your own photos, your hand writing and even your own signature. They print it, stuff it, stamp it, and send it in the mail for you. It's fast, easy and fun.

Let their reminder system tell you when a card is needed or simply choose a card anytime you want. Send unexpected cards at unexpected times. Never forget another birthday. Always show appreciation and to stay in touch with people who matter to you most.

It offers a simple and professional way for businesses to follow-up with their customers, vendors and associates. A customer that feels appreciated will continue to do business with you. They will also refer others to you.

You can create campaigns that will automatically send out Thank You Cards, Birthday Cards, Holiday Cards, and Promotional Postcards.

Customized Greeting Cards and Postcards

You can customize your business cards with your own logos, photos, or designs. For a nominal fee, it will create and set-up your own custom card. With this, a business can choose between their own custom cards, or have the flexibility of using any of the cards already available in the card catalog.

Personalization

You can have a campaign set-up for your business in just minutes. You can even personalize each piece within a day of its scheduled time to go out. You can have custom greeting cards and postcards made for your business; this lets your customer recognize you.

Example: Let's say you sell insurance. You decide that when someone buys a policy from you, you will send a pre-scheduled campaign of cards to your new customer. You will first send a Thank You Card, then a Birthday Card will be scheduled, A Holiday card will be scheduled and an Anniversary of Policy postcard will be scheduled that promotes new products that you offer. The system will automatically do this for you.

In addition, you can look up a customer's name at any time, click on a card that is scheduled to go out, click on that card and customize your message to that customer at any time.

Following up with Clients is important:

As the saying goes "the fortune is in the follow-up." When you follow up it shows you care and strengthens your relationships.

Referrals are a great way to get new clients. A thank you card is a great way to show you appreciate the referral.

A thinking of you card could be sent if you find a property for a client or as a follow up or reminder.

A thank you card could be sent by you to your customer after they have purchased from you or after you have showed them a property.

A Holiday card sent to your customer to show them you are thinking about them during the holidays.

Style 102: Contemporary

While some may have reservations about this style being stark and cold, others find a strong liking for its hip and fresh look. People tend to confuse elements with most other styles; however, contemporary decorating is truly unique in that. It is definitely sleek and chic; the freshly defined simplicity of geometric lines, shapes and forms are an appealing aspect for all ages as well as its simple yet bold colors.

Most contemporary interiors remind us of a well maintained art gallery, each element and form have their own designed space and are deliberately left to stand isolated, delivering a strong statement.

In general, furniture has clean lines: Legs are very exposed and in solid shapes. Skirts are either very flat or pleated with no additional trims. Fabrics are often natural and textural with black or bold colors, which are always recommended. Also mix of neutrals to white, pitch black, or gaudily bright and warm. Another aspect is the usage of animal prints for your furnishings. Leopard pillows or Zebra area rugs are very popular. Black is used as a rule on floors and is very contemporary.

Lighting style and placement is extremely important in such interiors. Always look for unusual fixtures with special shapes and forms, clean lines and perhaps with accents of strong black or metallic colors. It is equally important to use the contemporary lighting equipment to bring enough light to focus on particular areas, as well as permeate the corners and edges.

Art and painting pieces are an integral part of any contemporary rooms. Always be repetitive in shape, color and form but never crowd them! There are wide varieties of options such as abstract glass sculptures, primitive art and sculptures, black and white pictures/prints in lacquer frames, glass and steel display shelves, large colorful abstract paintings with simple chrome or brass frames, or no frame at all.

Accessories, if any, should be large and maintain a zone of empty space around each one of them.

Flooring is always smooth and complemented by area rugs with bright color and texture.

Plants should add a whiff of fresh air in any contemporary room and always choose bigger plants with interesting leaves. Up light them from the side and underneath the base. Flowers are dramatic too, and contemporary looking containers are usually used.

Innovations are usually a part of contemporary style of home furnishings and are an art form too. A well balanced contemporary room can be a connoisseur's delight and an artist's feast!

Style 101: Neo-Classical

07-20-09

This article is dedicated to explain the Neo-Classical Style in order to help identify and incorporate in any decorating project.

Neo-Classicism, which is sometimes called Louis XVI, lasted from 1750 through 1800. Furniture designed in the neoclassic style embraced the bold, straight (rectilinear) lines of the movement as pure, geometric shape and form replaced the sinuous (serpentine) curves of the Rococo period.

In both France and England, furniture designed during the second half of the eighteenth century reflected strong Greek and Roman influences. However, toward the turn of the nineteenth century, designs began to include Egyptian characteristics as well, resulting from Napoleonic (Empire style) campaigns into Egypt in 1798 and marked the division between the Early and Late Neo-Classic period.

Since the history of home furnishings has always been paralleled with the progress of the culture. Classic homes are personified for stately appearance and a lavish living. Some of the decorative ideas that will be used are:

  • Furniture with gentle lines made of a quality wood; polished with expertise, to add to the intrinsic glow. They are simple, light and graceful; can be Chippendale or Adam.
  • Shining floor made of highly polished marble or stone or light pine or granite with theme motif inlaid to convey the style.
  • Flowing, lengthy curtains to match the huge windows; multi-patterned with various colors.
  • Stately dining rooms with a large dining table; fluted legs to add to the charm and matched by rows of chairs with rectangular or shielded shapes.
  • Interior colors are pale and soothing: cream, stone, gray and pale blue. One can also use stronger color, sparingly: black and terra cotta for a Greek feel, or deep red and gold for an imperial, Roman look.
  • Wallpaper in geometric, floral or Classical designs is also appropriate. Decor is full of classical details; columns flank the fireplace, geometric marble or inlaid wood graces the entryway floor, accented use of murals or wallpapers adorn the walls of the dining room to create a dramatic feeling, crown molding is absolutely important and usually feature swags or dentil patterns.
  • Different types of columns, Doric or Ionic are most common in this style.
  • Antique accessories from late 18th century; silver tea ware, china, candlesticks, screens, urns and statuary.

Neo-Classical style decoration invokes the memories of bygone Roman or Greek living; bright living rooms making way for a great day and magnificent dining rooms radiating fresh energy to soothe a weary mind. Ceating a Neo-Classical ambience was and will always be the best way for a lavish living.
